Purchase tickets early for Jingle Bell Ball
November 11th, 2009 by Kimberly Lawson in EventsThe annual Jingle Bell Ball, now in its 15th year, is held on the second Friday of December as a charity event to raise money for United Family Services’ Shelter for Battered Women in Charlotte. Doesn’t that just make you feel all warm and toasty inside?
Well, here’s a heads up. Now through Dec. 4, tickets are available for $65. Afterward, in order to get into this fancy-schmancy charity shindig, you’ve got to shell out $75. But hey, it’s all for a good cause. Price of admission comes with two drink tickets (and of course there’s going to be a cash bar), light hors d’oeuvres from Blue restaurant, live entertainment with the New South Players and a silent auction.
Write it in your calendars: The event will be held Dec. 11 at Grand Central, 1000 Central Ave., from 8 p.m.-midnight. Tickets can be purchased at Just Fresh (1231-A East Blvd.) or online.
