    A 2003 Washington Post poll found that seven in 10 Americans thought Hussein was behind/involved in 9/11, so, sadly, the number you linked to make actually show an improvement in our mental faculties.

    True. But you’d think that in the 4 years since that last poll, a few more people would have gotten word of Saddam’s innocence in this matter.

    Let’s see: the Bushies have claimed that Saddam a) was linked to 9/11 (false) and b) had WMD (also false). This looks like the beginning of a pattern. What else do we all *know* about Saddam that is actually false?

    You want to bet it’s a whole litany of items?
