Scientology sticks to you like lint.
July 25th, 2008 by Eric Snider in Urban ExplorationsThere’s no doubt that the Church of Scientology has improved its image in the last decade or so. A little less secretive, a little less scary (although still creepy), more the butt of a good joke than a genuine threat.
Nonetheless, before you walk into a Scientology storefront on a drunken lark and fill out some paperwork, consider this:
My brother Kurt just received yet another piece of mail from the Church of Scientology, telling him “You are eligible for a free-six month membership in the International Association of Scientologists.”
Kurt’s been getting mail from Scientology for 29 years. As a 17-year-old living in St. Pete, he was briefly the drummer for a band that included a couple of Scientologists (the band was Tarkhill Firetower, just in case someone might remember).
Kurt — in his callow, impressionable youthfulness — attended a two-hour seminar or some such thing. He quickly decided it wasn’t for him.
But the mail started to come. And it has kept on coming, through more than a half-dozen moves. Kurt now lives with his family in a small town in central Tennessee, not exactly a hotbed of Scientological activity, and he’s more amused than anything.
He’s just glad they don’t have his e-mail address.
July 25th, 2008 at 5:07 pm
You consider what we are seeing now from that cult to be an improvement!?!? Have you not seen the video of a scientologist (Noelle North) making a little 5year old girl cry a couple of weeks ago? And that’s just ONE recent video of scilons behaving unethically.
The fact that you seem to write them off as mostly harmless is alarming. Don’t let their nonsense fool you, behind their silly, alien, Xenu stories, there is some sinister and harmful motives.
Do some research.
July 25th, 2008 at 5:57 pm
Yes, they love to send out beautiful, glossy brochures, newsletters and various other mailers. I’ve met people all over the world with the same story. And trying to get OFF the mailing list is pretty much impossible. You see, they need those numbers — it’s how they can claim that there are 100,00 $cientologists. Heh heh
July 25th, 2008 at 7:31 pm
Hey gargy, They claim 10 Million members. In the real world, thank Xenu, there are about 100,000, In the UK there are more Jedi’s then $cilons! They count anybody who ever bought a book, took a stress test, did a personality test, or drove up to or by an org! I’m sure their deceased members and ex-members out number the sorta kinda live members.
Come join Anonymous at our next protest! We have cake, they have lies.

I think the membership claimed by the cult is actually 10,000,000
yeah right

You know what else sticks to you no matter where you go? The cults ARMY of Private Investigators. Protesters have been followed, stalked, tailed for hours, and met with Cease and Desist intimidation letters at their house, despite attending demonstrations ANONYMOUSLY! Does YOUR church have an investigative division?
Show them that they do not own our cities, and they do not scare us anymore! Coachman Park in Clearwater, August 16th, 10:30 am. Wear a mask and lets take back our neighborhoods!

Eric, while the COS has become only marginally transparent in the past few years, know that it hasn’t become so without kicking and screaming with all the class of a five year old throwing a temper tantrum.
The sad thing is, the public knows more about the COS than most of the current members themselves! Within the COS, there is tremendous pressure to get people to buy the materials, books and all the other pseudoscience garbage. There are numerous eye witness accounts, victims testimonies and documentation of human rights abuses.
Please take the time to visit sites like exscientologykids.com, exscn.net, xenu.net and FACTnet.org. All of these sites are run by ex members who escaped the cult and well-informed critics. I hope you’ll btake the time to fully educate yourself on the dangerous realities of this vicious cult.
July 25th, 2008 at 10:04 pm
I’ve been a Scientologist since 1970, and I’ve now been to most of the websites mentioned. I’m college educated, ran the sales/marketing arm of what grew to an $800M technology company, have two grown kids. I’ve had the good fortune of being friends with many Tampa and Pinellas area businessmen. I am not a Church staff member. My first question is whether your brother asked off the Scientology mailing list. Just about every “claim” in the above posts are either false, misleanding, propaganda, slanted or sensationalized. What strikes me is that I don’t believe anyone of these people have met a Scientologist and they certainly have no clue as to the theology, tenets, goals or aims of Scientology. They focus on minor incidents, most of which happened decades ago (if at all). I have found Scientology to help me improve my life (which wasn’t bad in the first place) and raise two kids who are not on drugs and are contributing to a better culture for us all. No Church member EVER forced me to do anything, nor believe any data in Hubbards writings. As a matter of fact, just the opposite, I was encouraged to think for myself. I met several of the Anon protestors two months ago. Two were drunk and they said they were there to “party”. They were obnoxious, called names and got off when a driver passed by and honked. I saw just a handful of these guys last month, indicating their followers are getting bored or finding out that in fact Scientology is helping people.
July 25th, 2008 at 10:59 pm
The problem is that the CO$ fights so hard to silence critics, keep from being transparent, etc. Their group behavior is far from normal and arouses much of the suspicion they try act surprised about. Normal churches don’t have doctrines calling for total war against critics; going out of their way to squelch the First Amendment; harass ANYONE who opposes or questions them; I could go on and on but there is no need – it is all so well documented. Members say there is nothing odd going on, it is a wonderful organization, whatever, but there is obviously something a miss about these people. They act crazy and say they are sane and expect everyone to just say “Oh, I guess we were all wrong about them – they say they’re nornal and our suspicions are unjustified.” I don’t buy it.
July 26th, 2008 at 12:38 am
Hey marc;
Please stop being a shill for the cult OK?
Yes most of the Anons are kids, I’ve met some of them too and I’ve never seen any of them drunk or doing drugs at a protest. I bet that I’ve been to more than you!
I would love to meet you and debate some of your points, come to the next protest in Clearwater, bring an open mind and we can see.
Most of the Anons really want to help you. They’ve read Keeping Scientology Working and have found some things that worry them. I read it several times and frankly, it scares me.
Come out and really meet them and I if you dare. Please?

July 26th, 2008 at 4:50 am
So, let me see if i have this correct. If i am involved in an automobile accident and Tommy boy is not in the area to “drive by”, I will DIE???? and with out Tom and his pals at the CO$ I will never “have the abillity to create new and better realities”????? what the fuck is a new and better reality?? reallity IS reallity CO$ FUCKTARDTS
July 26th, 2008 at 9:27 am
@shellback. Stop being a shill for a hate group. I guess I should expect such ramblings from you though. Anyone who posts is a “shill”, is that right? It would be hard to debate you or even find you given the halloween attire.
What point exactly in Keeping Scientology Working scares you? And tell me why I should care?
July 26th, 2008 at 9:56 am
I have a friend – a journalism student – who covered something Co$ related and was there taking pictures and stuff, not harassing Co$ by any means, just covering some event, and she was followed for a week or two afterwards. I mean really tailed by a couple (drones) guys in a beige or brown car. She came out of a store and they were by her car taking pictures of her and her car/license plate. For about a week she said they were everywhere she went. She didn’t really care much because she was told by a knowledgeable friend that Co$ers do that sort of thing. They are a cult, after all, with apparently enough to hide that they feel compelled to do those kinds of things.
That is not normal behavior for a church to engage in.
It is exactly what one would expect of a cult.
July 26th, 2008 at 9:58 am
I was a $cientologist from the age of 7 (when my parents joined) until my 30th birthday last year. I thank God I made it out alive. It was a living nightmare. I hardly ever saw my parents, was homeschooled by the church with inadequate conditions, was forced to undergo confessionals, had every detail of my life (and previous lifetimes) scrutinized, worked 60 hours a week for virtually no pay, began work at 14 (against the law), was provided with a shockingly bad diet and I was often deprived of sleep. Anonymous has lifted me up so much. I thought no one in the world cared about people like me. They have proved that there are still people out there who care, people who will stand up to an injustice. I will support you guys come August.
July 26th, 2008 at 10:25 am
Marc, I love how you referred to shellback… “I guess I should expect such ramblings from you though.”
Let me ask you… unless you are actively monitoring our forums, gathering data on those who post electronically, and then in turn, gathering data on detractors in the real world in order to put a face/name/location to the electronic nickname… how do you know who he is and what to expect from him?
I know shellback, I know who he is in real life and why the cult considers him a threat. The REAL question is, how do YOU know who he is? If you are just a public, non-staff Scientologist. And even IF you were a full time staff, how would you have data on an anonymous internet poster?
Isn’t being called out as an OSA member a downstat for you? Starting the week out in the hole… not a good thing. See you in ethics.
July 26th, 2008 at 11:05 am
I’m laughing at this. Oh dear.
July 26th, 2008 at 11:43 am
I had a similar problem with scientologists when I lived in Tampa, Florida (about 25 miles from their Clearwater headquarters)
I made the mistake of buying their book Dianetics and once they had me in their mail/phone list, they bothered me for a total of 30 times by calls, showing up at my door, hand written letters and it never stopped until I moved away. Whoever is at that address is probably getting bothered still.
These people are NUTS! Stay away!

“The government is satisfied that Scientology is socially harmful. It alienates members of families from each other and attributes squalid and disgraceful motives to all who oppose it; its authoritarian principles and practice are a potential menace to the personality and well being of those so deluded as to become followers; above all, its methods can be a serious danger to the health of those who submit to them.
The government has concluded that it is so objectionable that it would be right to take all steps within its power to curb its growth.”

The creepuy cult is as dangerous as ever before. I know myself here in France of some ten complaints, with sequestration; fraud, suicide; illegal medicine practice; extortion; illegal pharmacy, etc.
July 26th, 2008 at 12:13 pm
Any organization that recruits THAT aggressively must, by logical extension, have an agenda to expand forcefully. That worries me, because one’s spirituality should be one’s own choice, not as a a result of high-pressure marketing.
@Marc: Your post *sounds* reasonable in this sense: Dianetics/Scientology helped me—>What’s so bad about that?
I’d like to ask you and other Scientologists the same question, regarding a different method of help: I had major depression, sought counseling, and took medications which helped lift that depression. Yet the CoS and CCHR (Citizens Commission for Human Rights – ha!) are actively fighting to destroy psychology and psychiatry, as well as outlaw/ban/restrict/interfere with use of psychopharmacological medicines.
You’re trying to restrict my rights under the delusional guise of “helping” me. I don’t want your help. I got help from appropriate professionals, and am determined that others have access to that help when they need it.
CoS members have no respect for others’ rights, because they’ve been brainwashed into believing a delusional worldview that means converting us all forcefully, restricting our options. If we resist, we are to be “disposed of quietly and without sorrow.”
That’s scary, and I oppose it. See you at the next protest.
July 26th, 2008 at 12:19 pm
I hope by know you have researched the subject further because it’s clearly evidenced on the internet and from the testimonials that Scientology is a lot more than scarey.
Scientology has been counting your brother ( and thousands of others )as one of their membership ‘millions’ and tracking him everytime he moves intentionally. He’s right to be concerned : Once they get his email address or phone number, good luck getting rid of them. Some people are called multiple times a week from diferent staff who btain the information from their database. Scientology is using credit information to track anyone who ever bought a book or did a service. Sounds pretty scarey to me.
July 26th, 2008 at 12:43 pm
@ marc
Boy, with all that power (money) and responsibility (money), you’re surely way up the bridge. I congratulate you, good sir. Almost fourty years of loyalty, to a organized criminal enterprise. Most people couldn’t have done it. Heck, I’ve not yet met a mobster who has held in as long as you. Then again, they’re usually aware of the fact they’re up to no good. You’re an exceptional specimen, though; of this, there can be no doubt.
It must be said, however, these hypothetical “anons” you supposedly met at a protest, could not have been Anonymous, for the only thing intoxicating to an Anonymous is lulz. And caek. Lulz and caek. And honks… for great justice.
Eh… Well, by golly… you must not be lying. You met an Anonymous alright. I must give credit where credit is due.
I can see, however, it might be easy for a $scientologist to confuse lulz intoxication with drunkenness, simply because there’s nothing as ripe with lulz as the act of taking down a global criminal corporation, and having fun doing it.
As for why Shellback might find Keeping Scientology Working scary: I cannot speak for him personally, nor can I speak for the Marcabian hivemind, but I find it scary, because it instructs scientologists to vehemently and correctly apply scientology tech to all aspects of one’s life.
Because scientology tech contains such thing as Fair Game, and the ever popular auditing process “R2-45″, the process of exteriorizatizing a thetan with a Colt 45, about which which hubbard said “Death is not the same as clearing but there is, remember, R2-45. It’s a very valid technique. A lot of people have used it before now.”
A valid technique. Like framing someone for making bomb threats, because they criticized scientology. Like infiltrating the government, to mine information related to scientology and scientology opposition within the government, and ultimately with the goal of controlling the government. Like using lawsuits to destroy lives and harass critics. Like spreading lies about critics to the critic’s friends, neighbors, employers. Like keeping people from much needed medical and professional mental care, to the point where they die from improper care, or kill themselves because they “squirreled”
With scientology’s history of zealously applying other aspects of hubbard’s tech–which is, in a nutshell, what KSW is all about–can you honestly dismiss the possibility that one of your fellow, more fevered devotees will go beyond the usual fair gaming tactics of harassment, and stalking, to murder?
To me, friend, that is scary.

Was in & out of COS since 1960.
Decided to quit in 2004.
Never (thanks to me) went far over its bridge.
Worked for COS & SO some time back.
Read the real life story of the founder of COS after I had left.
Also found out about the supposed higher levels of the bridge after I left.
Glad I left because what I have realized is that the founder of COS liked to exagerate his own lifetime & that of life itself.
Imagine trying to teach ethics when one is not fundamentally ethical.
The world is getting more people selling traps disgiused as a way to freedom & I was so trapped.
Again glad I’m out
July 26th, 2008 at 1:01 pm
Scientology is at best a money-making scam that separates vulnerable people from their money.
At its worst, Scientology is a highly dangerous cult that practices mind control on its ‘customers’ and staff, and conducts sinister Fair Game harassment against anyone who openly questions or challenges.

Every single anonymous protester is a criminal, and Scientology is a beacon of light amongst unenlightened barbarians. Every one of these is deluded and part of a global conspiracy to take over the world for themselves. They want to put in camps, deny us our human rights, prevent us to speak our minds, torture the minds of our children, and everything else.
Sorry I made a small mistake… can you reread my comment beginning with ‘Every single scientologist…and Anonymous is a beacon of light….Thanks.

Ha, I bet since he is receiving mail from them he is considered one of their “ten million” followers lmao.
How many of those mailings are asking for money? Greedy cult is greedy.
July 26th, 2008 at 2:03 pm
The story of Scientology stinking to you like lint is echoed the world over; my local shop keep says he and a mate went for a stress test for a lark when they were 17. His mate put his details down (some mate) and it was only last year when his parents had a solicitor write to them that they finally stopped sending mail, sometimes as often as 3 times a week; he left home 25 years ago, which was 5 years after their lark. That said, their is evidence they are now cleaning up their mailing lists, presumably to save money; he says had they sent him the money instead of the leaflets, CDs, later DVDs etc. it would have been a real help.
July 26th, 2008 at 5:04 pm
It’s not about whether Dianetics helped you; it’s about abuses of people and the law, written policies of harassment of critics, contempt for ‘wog’ law, lack of informed consent and lack of financial transparency.

Marc,
As one that has been on staff I can formally tell you that you have no clue what goes on inside the church or how they actually operate. All you know is one side of the story.
Scientology can and has helped people as has many other religions. The problem is how the church operates I.E. the Sea Org. It’s all a numbers game with money being the key to Scientology.
Now start looking for more outpoints with it and you will start to see them. And do some real research on Hubbard not just what DM feeds you with a spoon. Did you ever knotice the church’s stats are ALWAYS up and you never ever hear anything negative at events….it’s called stat pushing. Get with reality. The truth is the truth!
Knotice how the church also lies about disconnection, or are you sold on that being okay as well. They lied.
July 27th, 2008 at 2:36 pm
I would definitely not agree that the Cult of $cientology has improved its image in recent years.
July 27th, 2008 at 11:18 pm
Hi Annonomous. You ask Scientologist to come out and talk but you are the one’s with the masks. We are individuals you are “annonomous”.
Your aims are not to have a dialogue read what you are saying. Would you like to talk to someone who say’s they are out to destroy you? Who is overtly hostile to you? There are many more who feel they have done well by their involvement with it. Would you deny me the right to continue to enjoy those gains? Whatever happened to my right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?
July 28th, 2008 at 10:43 am
Life is good when you know how. And Scientology has helped me understand Life. I’ve found it quite helpful. And have helped others with its ideas.
July 28th, 2008 at 2:41 pm
LMAO…anyone who posts something positive about Scientology is “shilling”? That’s funny, brah.
Like the fellow above, my life was pretty dang good to begin with, and Scientology has worked wonders to improve it. I am not affiliated with the church management, I am just a dude on the street, I have a job, a house, a car…a Wii? What else? Well I also have a functional, envy-inducing marriage, great relations with others and lots of joy in my life sans “helpers” like pot or pills (which, judging by the looks of some of the unmasked protesters, they can’t say for themselves lol).
The critics above (who really can’t speak in person like they do online…lmfao…my god they’d come across like absolute human trainwrecks) like to throw the MOST controversial or “strange” sounding bits of Scientology around like they are the major teachings of Scientology. In other words, hugely distort it. The Scientologist-man-on-the-street is not going around obsessed with the “shocking” things you profess Scientology is all about. All that stuff is a minor little corner of it that really is given little importance in the grand scheme of things. Scientology is REALLY about functional, fun life. Not “junk from the past,” as you’d allege.
An ex-staff member above had to work hard. That was kinda…umm…understood, man? No? Staff members bust their asses. Most do great. Big deal, you moved on.
Anyway, I am not saying the Church is without it’s bad points (yeah, they do send a lot of mail lol), but the level of dialogue and debate really should be focused on more substantive points than “OMGZZZ THEY WORSHIP UFOS DOODZ!!!” It’s not true, a complete and utter distortion. And the ex-Scientologists posting here know it, too.
Scientology teaches you are an eternal, spiritual being. Big deal, so does Christianity (for the most part) or Buddhism. The difference with Christianity is one of place (where the soul goes, as maybe an oversimplification, but a pretty OK one).
Buddhism believes just about exactly the same.
All the “shocking” things being bandied about were never hidden…Au contraire…all that “space opera” stuff is in the Technical Dictionary, which anyone in any Scientology courseroom could find, read and be aware of. I was. Big deal. If you buy that you’ve existed for billions of years, surely lots of stuff has gone down “back in the day.” It’s not the real, ultimate focus of Scientology.
Anyhow, I hope others out there will speak up to inject a little fairness and a little truth into the mud being unfairly thrown. I have heard legit criticism on the net, but it’s far outweighed with the weird, seething-hate postings.
Galt
p.s. creative loafing…my captcha is “panti”?!? lol…
July 28th, 2008 at 2:57 pm
Why is it that scilons like to state that any negative opinion formed about their cult is a lie? Maybe because they’ve been programmed to do so?
We all can’t be wrong. All the ex-scn’s can’t be wrong. All the media outlets, national governments and international groups can’t be wrong.
Right?
Sorry your friend is still being harassed. I hope it stops someday.
July 29th, 2008 at 7:31 am
Notice Marc never answered how he was able to know, in real life, who an anonymous internet poster was.
I have no problem with the scientology beliefs. I think… they’re insane… and manipulative… but its as much my right to believe that as it is a scientologists right to believe in their faith.
What anonymous takes issue with is the tactics of Organized Scientology. We oppose what the leaders have done to supress the outside world. We oppose illegal, illicit and surpressive acts by those who control your church. We support the Freezone and their right to practice freely the Tech of Scientology. Scientology has and will continue to help people, but organized scientology and the squirrels who run it cannot be allowed to continue damaging both those within and without scientology.
The leaders of the church have squirreled the tech, removing it from LRHs original context. Golden Age of Tech? NEW Basics? UPDATED Versions of the tech that was, is, and always will be perfect?
You say that the tech is perfect, but that the application of it was mishandled, and thus it needed to be updated? How long was that bad tech delivered under the nose of The Source while He was still alive? How long did Hubbardand his PERSONALLY TRAINED Class 12 auditors, distribute, and further erroneous tech? And if imperfect tech doesn’t work, how do you account for the 30+ years scientology opperated on flawed, or misconstrued tech?
Does that seem likely to you? That Hubbard would not notice errors in the administration of his own tech while he was alive? So either Hubbard was delerious, inattentive, dismissive, a bad admin, or flat out erroneous; Or David Miscaviage is squirrelling the tech.
July 29th, 2008 at 7:40 am
Scientology is a criminal cult organised to strip people of their critical thinking and then their money.
Scientology preaches family breakup and racism. Go to Youtube and watch the ‘Scientology Exposed PSA: Not Equal’ video. Go to http://www.exscientologykids.com/ and read about ‘disconnection’.
Do not be surprised if victims post on this page claiming ‘good things’ about their experiences.
They’ve been trained to ignore their instincts. They’ve been ripped off without mercy told lies to justify their gullibility. They will seek to heap praise on the source of their ruin to hide their shame.
July 29th, 2008 at 8:04 am
What kind of church makes you sign a contract before you can join?
Have you ever seen a $cientology soup kitchen?
What kind of church charges $200,000.00 to get to the higher levels, (where you learn about Xenu and the space cooties)?
It’s all about the money.
You have it, they want it, they will stop at nothing to get it, until you are drained.
July 29th, 2008 at 8:12 am
Scientology is a scam, always has been and still is. Hubbard was a con man and a lier who invented the religion to hide his misdeeds. I\\\’m sick of people calling it a religion because its not. Its not a church either. Its a con job and a fraud disguised as something benign. All Scientology is concerned with is the contents of your wallet, bank account and just about everything else you own. Read it for yourself just google Scientology deception.
July 29th, 2008 at 9:44 am
I love the line up there where a Scientologist you said they “don’t wear masks.”
I’m supporting what Anonymous is doing. And I do not wear a mask. Much like many of us who have followed this cult’s activities for a while. And since I have no crimes to hide; not even a parking ticket, I walk w/o fear and do not care. Know me full and well, and I will still call you out for the cult you are.
You see, you DO have masks, dear scientologist. They are called Narconon, CCHR, Applied Scholastics, WISE etc. I have been a member of and friend of many religious organizations over the decades and never in my life have I met one so determined to HIDE it’s charity work under a secular banner.
If you are truly a religious organization, one meant for HELPING people and not robbing them, then why hide the face of your true motives? To be honest, I have read Dianetics and Clear Mind, Clear Body and KSW as well as Science of Survival. I fid them, at best, interesting. At worst, deluded.
The main problem I have with Scientology is not in it’s beliefs. Whether you know of this Xenu story or not, matters nothing to me. What matters to me is the sheer determination to force your personal religious beliefs on others.
The Christian Science religion also believes in homeopathy therapy. Which, btw, is all Dianetics is at the end of the day. The e-Meter, it does nothing unless you have been convinced it does by faith alone. Much like some other faiths believe in souls or ghosts, “thetans” are just another word for the same thing. And if you believe something can detect them, fine, believe that.
But DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT even dare to come into my hospital or the my child’s school and tell them that your RELIGIOUS beliefs should replace their MEDICAL practices. DON’T YOU DARE come and take away the legal rights I have to choose how to medicate and heal my own body.
If you do not believe in blood transfusions (like some faiths do) It DOES NOT give you the right to protest and complain until that right is taken away from ALL individuals.
This is where Scientology has crossed the line. Through your MASK. Your CCHR. You have proceeded to remove the rights of others to care for themselves how they see fit.
THIS is a violation of the very Human Rights you said you were fighting for.
July 29th, 2008 at 11:18 am

Scientology, through the front group of the CCHR, opposes all forms of psychiatric medicine and aims to destroy all psychiatrists and psychologists. Criticizing psychiatry is a good thing but Scientology and the CCHR is aiming to get rid of it and replace it with LR Hubbard tech.
My mother is a schizophrenic. She went from being a wonderful person to being a complete stranger in a very short time. She was extremely smart, well educated, funny, healthy and fit (as in, took all her vitamins and exercised), and was a great mother. She became paranoid, moody, and lashed out and hurt everyone who loved her. She couldn’t understand that we were not out to get her and that we were not monsters. But she was hallucinating, believing that her own children were putting thoughts in her mind and that she had somehow failed as a mother.
I dealt with this while I was still a child. This is something I would never wish upon even my worst enemy.
Eventually, she received psychiatric help. She has a hard time but at least my mother is back. She is no longer a danger to herself or others. She isn’t afraid of everything around her anymore.
Scientology says that she could be cured through vitamins and exercise. Scientology says that mental illness is somehow the fault of the person, as if they bring it upon themselves. Scientology says that she is a victim of psychiatry because how dare she get help to stop seeing horrible hallucinations.
No. Psychiatry brought my mother back. With the help of medication, therapy, and family support, I got to talk to my mother again.
This is one of the many, many reasons I am standing against the cult of Scientology.
Oh and before the Scientologists start with the ad hominem arguments, I take no medications or drugs, save for prescribed antibiotics.

Ever hear of a church that gives present members a COMMISSION for every new member he brings in?
$cientology does!

Scientology is a marvelous invention. It is a hybrid of a ponzi scheme, organized criminal organization and political party, all dressed up like a religion.
I must salute L. Ron, he may have been a failed scifi writer, a con man and pseudo-scientist magic man, but let it never be said he didn’t have a good understanding of the human mind. He preyed on human fear well, and backup his image and religion with something people trusted but knew too little to actually speak against and engaged in debate. (science was seen as the great and wonderful thing in 1950s and 1960s.)
He borrowed and created his own philosophy to lead and defend his money tree, the Chruch of Scientology. Aggressive and for the most part efficient, him methods destroy his opponents by both legal and illegal means.
His methods worked for almost 5 decades, bring to heel single individuals, opposing organizations of all sizes from volunteer groups (CAN)to multimillion-international business (Times), and even governmental organization that hasten to kneel before his awesome might (IRS).
That is until Scientology meet the Internet. I wonder what L.Ron would have thought about this new opponent? Would he been able to devise a means to destroy the internet?
Alas,we will never know as L.Ron died from a stroke, pickled in Vistaril, a psychatric drug to treat anxiety and neurosis. And given that L.Ron spend his life peddling bogus physics, biology, life threatening medical opinions and trying to destroy the field of psychiatry, it was almost as if he knew.. that one day psychiatry would be the end of him.
It was no double, a combined effort by the BBC, Nazis, Communist, vengeful psychiatrist, the 4th or 5th Macabian Space fleet (The Intel from Scientology isn’t certain if it is the 4th or 5th fleet hiding on the darkside of the moon) and of course the Pharmaceutical industry to kill such a great man.

What legitimate religion has prison camps?
Child slave labor?
It’s very own “dirty tricks” department?
Coerces abortions?
Encourages the seperation of parents from children?
Justice Latey, ruling in the High Court of London:
“Scientology is both immoral and socially obnoxious…It is corrupt sinister and dangerous. It is corrupt because it is based on lies and deceit and has its real objective money and power for Mr. Hubbard… It is sinister because it indulges in infamous practices both to its adherents who do not toe the line unquestionably and to those who criticize it or oppose it. It is dangerous because it is out to capture people and to indoctrinate and brainwash them so they become the unquestioning captives and tools of the cult, withdrawn from ordinary thought, living, and relationships with others.”

marc wrote: “I’ve been a Scientologist since 1970, and I’ve now been to most of the websites mentioned.”
Congratulations. Did you bother reading them?
marc wrote: “I’m college educated, ran the sales/marketing arm of what grew to an $800M technology company, have two grown kids. I’ve had the good fortune of being friends with many Tampa and Pinellas area businessmen. I am not a Church staff member. ”
And I’m Sherlock Holmes headed for tea with the Queen of England. None of that is verifiable and its a statistical near certainly that you’re Sea Org working for Office of Special Affairs.
marc wrote: “My first question is whether your brother asked off the Scientology mailing list.”
It wouldn’t make any difference. The Church of Scientology will keep sending him promotional material until he’s dead, and quite possibly after. If they don’t, they’ll lose a stat, and we both know perfectly well what happens at the org when the stats are down. Which they are.
marc wrote:” Just about every “claim” in the above posts are either false, misleanding, propaganda, slanted or sensationalized. “
Would you care to point out one in specific or will you continue to deal in the broadest of generalities?
marc wrote: “What strikes me is that I don’t believe anyone of these people have met a Scientologist and they certainly have no clue as to the theology, tenets, goals or aims of Scientology. “
You’re speaking generalities again, but I’ll work with it.
1)Theology-Scientology is not a religion, its a money making pyramid scheme. It has no theologians because any discussion of its tenants is ‘out-ethics’ .verbal tech.’
2)Tenets-I wanted a precise definition of this word. Here’s what google found for me.
‘dogma: a religious doctrine that is proclaimed as true without proof ‘
Now wait a minute, that can’t be. There’s no faith in Scientology, just what you have personally experienced and ‘know’ to be true. I guess that means Scientology doesn’t have any tenets.
3)Goals+ Aims-Its not about creating a saner society where the able can prosper. Its about making money. Do you think Enron promised to scam investors in the corporate charter?
marc wrote:-”They focus on minor incidents, most of which happened decades ago (if at all).”
Yet another vague generality. How’s your case gain coming along lately? Sec check!
marc wrote:-” I have found Scientology to help me improve my life (which wasn’t bad in the first place) and raise two kids who are not on drugs and are contributing to a better culture for us all. “
Testimonials don’t mean anything without also saying how many times something didn’t work out of a given proportion. I can find testimonials at Fast Eddy’s Used Pinto car lot, for Madam Cleo’s supernatural powers, or the all Krispy Cream diet. They don’t mean anything and only show Scientology to be the pseudo science that it is.
marc wrote:-”No Church member EVER forced me to do anything, nor believe any data in Hubbards writings. As a matter of fact, just the opposite, I was encouraged to think for myself.”
Sure Marc, Think for yourself, duplicate Ron. You guys should really use that in your internet advertising, which is working really well to counter Anonymous. LOL
marc wrote:-” I met several of the Anon protestors two months ago. Two were drunk and they said they were there to “party”. They were obnoxious, called names and got off when a driver passed by and honked. “
And the dead agenting finally begins. Did you get this on video? Would have been a major PR win for guys, and don’t kid yourself, you need it. Desperately. Pix or it didn’t happen. Scientology will only ‘help’ you while the checks cash. Not that I would consider being turned into a cult member with ‘fixed, dedicated glare’ help. Btw Marc, about those ‘New Basics…’

$cientology is all about control. Using bait and switch techniques, hypnosis (they say it isn’t but it is) and emotional blackmail they then proceed to fleece of your every last penny.
Scientology is a corporate pyramid scheme that acts like a cult and presents itself as a religion.
Religion is free.
Scientology is neither.

Power Comes From Knowledge of The Enemy
Ronbot is a pejorative term for some or all followers of Scientology. The term is a pun on Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard’s first name and the word robot.
The term Ronbot is meant to express the habit of Scientologists of being so programmed with the “Tech” that they can’t express their own viewpoints on life, because that has been suppressed and prohibited of them from doing so.
The Ronbot never doubts any thing he is told by staff, never investigates, never thinks beyond what he is told, never seeks to know more than he is permitted to know, never refuses to turn on his family, never reads what he is told not to read, never refuses to hurt the feelings of his family, never refuses to kill the love he had for his family, never doubts PTS or SP data, never seeks other ways to heal any symptom, never wonders why he is so fanatical and why? Never wonders why he hates SPs, and is willing to kill for the tech. Never refuses to hurt, damage or harm an SP, never doubts he is superior to us, never refuses to obey his masters on staff, etc.
Ex-scientologists view a Ronbot as a brainwashed Robot, since he can’t ever leave the Tech and express his own view points.
His reading material, his TV viewing and his interpersonal relationships and what he says and the way he talks, are closely monitored by other Ronbot Staff. If they discover that he went out with or talked with an SP and read material from Anti-cult websites, he is in deep trouble and must now face an ethics review.
He in fact does not have his own viewpoints, but just thinks so. His mind is so flooded with the Tech that to speak to, associate with, date or love a person who is classed as an SP is instant insanity (drastic down-tone slide) and he will be classed by the Cult as a “risk” or PTS.
Remember this fact—that all true Ronbots have a weak mind and spirit. They are actually very willing to be a slave of the Tech without question.
In the CULT OF SCIENTOLOGY YOU HAVE NO CONSTITUTION RIGHTS SUCH AS FREE SPEECH – you are told what to think, do and say. Your actions, your friends your relations, your books, and everything else you can think about is RESTRICTED to their approval.
YOU ARE NOT A FREE MAN OR WOMAN ABLE to do as you please at home, read what you please at home, your home TV set has a little censorship lock on it placed there by the cult to keep you inline.
Even your thoughts and innermost secrets are investigated and if they are considered wrong or un-approved by your ETHICS OFFICER you are taken (scammed) for more money.
The Ronbot was told that “suppression is illness and illness is suppression”, therefore he thinks that all illnesses come only from suppression or a PTS condition.
Remember that Ronbots are told that “all illnesses to a greater or lesser degree are due to only a PTS condition”. Any illness or symptom makes a Ronbot turn on anyone he was near in the past 72 hours. He is programmed to believe that his Mother or Father now is a Monster called a“SP” or “Suppressive Person.
He is never given the facts on “symptom re-stimulations”. He is never told about it being a physiological reaction, he is never told that all symptoms and illnesses are physiological reactions and that some symptoms can be re-stimulated by stress and arguments. And that symptoms are never the same for all; because every one has different deficiencies and different levels of toxins in their body, that will bring out a different symptom each time he is argued with.
Remember this one fact that Scientology rejects—“symptoms are not illnesses!” But Ronbots are never taught the true causes of real illnesses, and are trained to despise their parents when they get a symptom of a real illness. Symptoms can be re-stimulated by many real causes of illnesses even by stress—which in the cult is accepted by the brain-washed ronbots as “suppression”.
Scientology NEVER teaches Ronbots that symptoms are really physiological reactions of all life on Earth.
A physiological reaction is an effect of some cause. The real causes of all illnesses produce the symptom.
They use this brain-washing about symptoms, in order to control them and make them hate whoever opposes the cult.
In his weak brain-washed mind, he can’t ever accept that legal and illegal drugs, chemicals, parasites, toxins, toxic plants, mutated foods, Nuked (irradiated) Foods, or poisonous animals or insects, poisons, viruses or bacteria or over acidity etc., are the only and true causes of illnesses in the world. His mind rejects these well known facts as SP propaganda.
When he faces you in the street—he can’t see you, he can only see what is programmed into his brain-washed head. To him, you are the SP monster who is no better than his SP father or SP mother he turned his back on and now hates and/or distrusts.
He is not free to think for himself–therefore he is a ronbot.
It is senseless to argue with a Ronbot—he needs de-programming—he needs to be told he is a Robot and that he can’t pull the plug and reset his brain. Do not confront a Ronbot the old way – just pity him and dare him to talk with you about how Physiological Reactions are connected to study tech.
Dare him to have a friendly conversation with you—the more of a Ronbot he is – the more he will be afraid to go to ethics for daring to talk with an SP.
The cult will threaten any person with total exposure of all their confessed sins and secrets, if you dare leave, EXPOSE or confront them. That is the weapon that controls ALL CELEBRITIES, PROFESSIONALS AND COWARDS. The weak have given up their soul and now find that it will be made public knowledge.
The programming that he has received will force him to ask for your sins and secrets. He sincerely believes that you are against the Cult ONLY because you have sins of omission and commission.
Explain to him that he has sins and secrets too and that you would like to know his first, since he brought up the issue first. But don’t ask to hear them as a treat or condition to talk with him—if he refuses to give you his own sins and secrets—let it pass as long as he is willing to talk with you.
Do not argue with or insult a Ronbot, talk with him in a polite way even if he disgusts you. Arguments are commercial Controversies and make you lose the game. Get him to identify who he is and found out if he has property or a website. He if is connected to any website that libels and slanders your actual name on it—he just made you rich.
Then hire a Private Investigator to find out who owns or runs the website. Write them and accept all their attacks on your name for value. Start the UCC method to counter-attack them and take them for all they own.
Know this for a fact. — His brain is not his anymore. He can’t be proactive and dare to talk with a person who he was told is a MONSTER. But if he dares to talk and you only ask questions and never argue with him. He will begin to doubt and you know what happens to him after he is in the Condition of Doubt.
He is as evolved as a snail-or he was one in another life. In this life, he consented to be a mind-slave. Just dare him to read and dare him to talk with any anti-cult person on a friendly basis for at least one hour—dare him to get to know you–by then after that hour he is now a damaged ronbot to the cult—he won’t be trusted and now he is on his way to freedom from control.
For you to defeat the “Church” of scientology you must expose these truths about how Ron discovered Study Technology.
Once you put this NEW DATA into his brain, he is now damaged goods and is no longer a Ronbot, but a suspected PTS person never to be trusted again by the Cult.
To save a RONBOT BRAIN you must deprogram it with NEW DATA.
Sincerely yours,
Ronbothunter

THE NEW WAY TO DEFEAT ANY AND EVERY GODLESS CULT THAT ATTACKS YOU
In Commerce, Truth is Sovereign and supreme.
Any ex-scientologist or person who wants to defeat them need to know that there are a group of people in the USA that try to expose the crimes of our own government—they are call sovereignty groups. Or patriots or anti-corrupt government sites etc.
But the truth is that they do teach people many truths not known by the general public.

ALL LAW TODAY IS COMMERCE — ALL COMMERCE IS CONTRACT— NO CONTRACT = NO CASE!
Contracts make the law – all law is contract.
“Bind down the Public officials with the chains of the Constitution” —Thomas Jefferson
Only because we run under admiralty laws:
Here are some interesting facts, from Dec 1999 study by the Justice Policy Institute:
o There are presently 2,000,000 Americans in jail, mostly for non-violent “offenses”.
o The US has the world’s highest incarceration rate, surpassing Russia and China, and the world’s largest prison population.
o With less than five percent of the world’s population, the US now has fully one-quarter of the world’s prisoners.
o There are six times as many Americans behind bars as are imprisoned in the 12 countries making up the entire European Union, even though those countries have 100 million more citizens than the US.
o Nearly one in three African American boys born this year will spend some time in prison.
The Federal United States government and all the State governments and all of their agencies and subdivisions such as the city, county, boroughs and townships and banks are corporations.
One of these methods is how to strike back when the government abuses their rights.
The method I like the best is the UCC method of using the common law or what was once called Constitution Law before this government changed it into Statutory Law and Case Law made by the judges themselves.
Remember this well known fact: Judges, politicians and Lawyer Politicians and lawyers can and are bought all the time—now they are inventing new laws to suit their rich masters.
In 1976, Congress took away any semblance of law or justice left within our court system. All law today is now construed, constructed and made up by the judge as it happens before your very eyes.
There is no law today except as fiction of copyrighted statutes, to be interpreted by ‘judges’ who construe and construct whatever they choose to have those statutes mean.
There are from 50,000 to 75,000 Anti-self-defense or so call Gun Laws, in the USA right now and growing each year.
[The words “government” is replaced with “scientology” to help you understand what can be done to stop the cult.]
These sovereign anti-Scientologists can and do use the commercial UCC method to “accept for value” each scientology attack that will bring a “common law” UCC claim/s against them and ruin them and ruin each high profile cult member for life.
From now on, when presented with any “claim” or presentment from government or a cult or even a Ronbot, you will agree with it. This removes the “controversy.” And you “accept it for value.” By doing this you remove the negative claim against your account or court case and become the “holder in due course” of the presentment. As holder in due course you can require the sworn testimony of the presenter of the “claim” under penalty of perjury and request the account or court case be properly adjusted.
It’s all business, a commercial undertaking, and the basic procedure is not complicated. In fact, it’s fairly simple. We just have to remember a few things, like: this is not a “legal” procedure -we’re not playing dog-and-pony. This is commerce, and we play by the rules of commerce. We accept the “claim,” become the holder in due course, and challenge whether or not the presenter of the claim had/has the proper authority (the Order) to make the claim (debit our account) in the first place. When they cannot produce the Order (they never can, it was never issued) we request the account be properly adjusted (the charge, the “claim ” goes away).
Every attack from Scientology to a living person is a commercial “PRESENTMENT” and can be accepted for value. That means that now they have to prove you are a real SP and they have to prove you have ALL the 12 attributes with actual verifiable and un-disputable PROOF to back up their claims or you can file a claim against the Church and any Staff-Member who dares be a party to false claims against you.
The cult, when it attacks you has to PROVE everything or they will loose commercially and make you rich.
Each Anti-cult person that is classed as an SP on any website belonging to Ronbots or secretly sponsored by the Cult, can bring a commercial claim against the cult and the Ronbot and the cult CAN”T remove the UCC lien which will be the end result. It then must pay or be ruined—that includes taking all the Ronbot’s property and home.
You will be able to learn that in a statutory court, you have no rights, since it is run under laws that are in treason to the Constitution. You must learn to reserve your commercial and Constitution rights to defeat Ronbot lawyers.
When you know HOW to reserve your rights under the UCC and the Constitution– In any civil court (color of law court) they will need to show a contract that you violated when you reserved your rights and know what to do and say. It is all on the sovereignty websites for you to learn.
You need to educate all anti-scientologists on the UCC and how this government is really run—once that is done scientology will fall.
They can use the secrets of how Ron discovered Dianetics and how he used the laws of nature as the base for his lies and scams.
They can study sovereignty websites and learn the way to bring UCC claims on all the head staff of each Center or Org. Recommended as the way to bring down the cult in one year!!!
Since the Federal United States and now each “Corporate” State is running on admiralty laws which are commercial, they/you can use these same methods to bring down the cult of the devil Ron.
Ex-scientologists know that to win they must ATTACK and ATTACK the cult, BUT they have no idea of how to stop it. If they only knew two words and how Ron hid that knowledge from the world and used it to invent a so called “Religion” and that its copyrights are now owned by ex-IRS goons, they would be able to win for once.
http://www.sc-i-r-s-ology.pair.com/copyrights/copyrightsindex.html
The words you won’t want to know if you are a Ronbot are: “Physiological Reactions” of the mind and body. An anti-cult person will learn how Ron discovered and claimed the laws of God as his own inventions.
Once this penetrates into their/your brain/s, then you/they will know how to stop scientology and all its scams.
Tell and email this info to your friends and anti-cult websites and tell them for me that they are wasting their time attacking Scientology the old way—use the deep down truth to stop the black heart of Ron and the world will win.
Yours truly
RonbotHunter

Marc writes: “They focus on minor incidents, most of which happened decades ago (if at all).”
So you don’t believe in documented evidence and death certificates, eh, Marc? Tell me, do you believe Mary Sue and members of the GO went to prison for stealing Xerox paper from government offices?
Oh, you wanted RECENT evidence of Scientology abuses? How about Martine Boubil, the woman who was rescued from imprisonment in Sardinia, held in squalor against her will by two Scientologists directed by her Scientology brother to subject her to the Introspection Rundown. She could have been the next Lisa McPherson, held until she died under Scientology care.
Or Kaja Ballo, who committed suicide after undergoing a Free Personality Test in France?
Or Linda Waliki, a schizophrenic second gen Scilon, who killed her father and sister because she was not getting the medical attention she needed?
Or Jeremy Perkins, also second gen scilon, who stabbed his mother 77 times because he, too, wasn’t getting the medical care he needed to treat his schizophrenia?
How about Raul Lopez, a brain damaged victim of a horrible traffic accident, who was convinced by Scientologists they could cure him? The only thing they did was drain his bank account of his insurance settlement, money that was meant to maintain him for the rest of his life. Fortunately, his mother sued and the Scientologists who fleeced him were forced to give the money back.
These are but a few incidents off the top of my head.
But Scientology helps YOU, so that’s all right then, is it? What is it about Scientology that turns regular human beings into greedy, self-centered liars?
If your example isn’t enough to nauseate decent members of society, I don’t know what is.
Deaths, fraud, domestic espionage.
But it helps YOU, so it’s all right! Disgusting!

Scientology does not work. Even their leader David Miscaviage(sp?) admits this.
However, they have a BRAND-NEW Basics package that has been re-re-re-re-re-edited. It WILL work this time. And it can be yours for the low cost of $19.99. Well, more like $1999.99.
Oh, and then they will hound you to death for money to open an “ideal-org” (among other things)not unlike the Super Powers building in Clearwater, the city they moved into aunder false name and preceded to take over.

I had been a scientologist (public not staff) for over 30 years. In that time I had never experienced or witnessed the abuses talked about on the internet until near the end of my participation in the cult. I was being audited and witnessed the senior c/s scream at my auditor in front of me about my “case.” Then again, I witnessed the Executive Director of the organization screaming at the staff in an early morning muster. It was eye-opening and very revealing of what was going on at the time. The bulk my my services occurred after the death of my husband wherein the org expected me to come into a lot of money. I was hounded day and night with registrars posted at my house and waiting for me at my place of business. They almost caused me to lose my job. When the little money I gave them from my refi of my house ran out so did all their “love” and “support.” They were gone. It took years to get my husband off the mailing list. I had to get someone from the inside who was working on the Central Files project to remove his name (at this time deceased 12 years) from their database. I still get tons of mail which gets put in the recycle bin but lately they’ve been showing up at my door again.
