We asked you, our readers, to submit your Charlotte-centric videos on YouTube to be featured here on CL-TV. We’ve received a few submissions through our YouTube group, and here’s the first one we are showing! Take a virtual ride on the Charlotte’s light rail.

We are looking for readers to create funny, funky, or just plain entertaining Charlotte-centric videos. The video can be about anything related to Charlotte — whatever you think your fellow Charlotte readers would enjoy watching. Just post them to our group on YouTube and we’ll sort through the videos and post the best here on CL-TV online!

Here are your instructions:

1. Shoot your video.
2. Go to www.YouTube.com.
3. Create an account.
4. Post your video.

Then…

1. Go to http://www.youtube.com/group/clcharlotte to join our group “Creative Loafing Charlotte.”
2. Join our group by clicking “Join This Group” on the right.
3. Add your video by clicking “Add Videos”
4. Select your video, and then click “Upload Video.”

And of course, here are a few guidelines:

• Videos cannot include any criminal acts.
• No nudity, please. (But profanity is encouraged!!)
• Keep it short– no videos over 5 minutes.
