The Moz show last night was far superior to the one this summer at Chastain. Doesn’t even compare. I would go as far to say it was even better than his last Tabernacle performance.
His voice still sounds stellar, he still has his swagger and hell does he have a sharp looking band together with him. I was quite impressed and the crowd was as well. Will try to get some photos I took up on my blog when I have a second to breathe this week.
Congratulations to the 20 people who refused to let go over Moz’s shirts he threw into the crowd until a security guy cut each their respective shares. Special shout-out to the woman who jumped down onto the side of the stage from the balcony in an attempt to touch Moz. (Note: No sarcasm.)

Also note for those missed the show: It was (as per usual these days) an “hits” setlist.
From a fansite: Stop Me If You Think You’ve Heard This One Before / Tomorrow / Irish Blood, English Heart / Last Of The Famous International Playboys / Sister, I’m A Poet / The Loop / I Just Want To See The Boy Happy / One Day Goodbye Will Be Farewell / Why Don’t You Find Out For Yourself? / Jack The Ripper / Stretch Out And Wait / I’m Throwing My Arms Around Paris / All You Need Is Me / Death Of A Disco Dancer / Billy Budd / Let Me Kiss You / The World Is Full Of Crashing Bores / Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want / How Soon Is Now? //Encore: First Of The Gang To Die

What was up with the tacky sheet banners someone hung on the balcony? The copy on both of them was painful and one referenced “Hotlanta”.

Yeah, the Hotlanta banner was obviously not from someone from Atlanta. Hasn’t anyone told them it’s the A-T-L now? ;) Hotlanta is sooo 1996.

More like sooo 1986. Then again, I guess saying ’sooo’ anything is like sooo 1986 too, huh?
