This is to Rodney Carmichael yes we all bought the CD!! The CD is very good.. alot of people who are not real janet fans, did not even know the cd was out due to lack of promotion. Thats why her #s was so low and also radio still does not play her music like they should.. and to the author you are very disrespectful to Janet.

Justin Timberlake did!!!! Now why isn’t he being mentioned whenever you haters talk about this “Wardrobe Malfunction”…that happened 4 bloody years ago!!!!!

that information from wikipedia needs to be updated. Janet’s “Discipline” album is now at 450,000. but it is very immature and unprofessional for this author to use all those juvenile descriptions of Janet. “Famed flasher”? do you call madonna the “famous ‘Sex’ book author”, or the ‘justify my love’ star? Janet is a Famed Dance Icon. if you’re going to write an article about Janet Jackson, show the woman some respect for what she has accomplished and the impact she has had on pop music. an impact, i might add, that’s still very much present today, despite her sales decline. true journalists do not interject their personal opinions into an article. and it’s 2008, not 2004.

I’d have to agree with Jerome’s comment. Show the ICON some respect. Calling her a ‘flasher’ ‘pop star on the wane’, the over used ‘Wardrobe…blah blah…, is soooo f’ing TIRED!
The women is an ICON and has help mold popular culture.

This article took real pains to marginalize Janet. Maybe the blogger forgot that Ms. Jackson’s last CD did indeed debut at #1 as did her last film. And the flasher label is just ignorant and redundant. That’s so 2004!
