Michael Jackson, King of Pop, reportedly dead from cardiac arrest – UPDATED

[Updated at 3:15 p.m.: Pop star Michael Jackson was pronounced dead by doctors this afternoon after arriving at a hospital in a deep coma, city and law enforcement sources told The Times.]
UPDATED at 6:06 p.m.: No reliable news source has yet to confirm. Here’s CNN’s latest:
Fire Capt. Steve Ruda told CNN a 911 call came in from a west Los Angeles residence at 12:21 p.m. and the patient was treated and transferred to the UCLA Medical Center.
Asked specifics of the patient’s condition, the spokesman said he could not discuss them because of federal privacy laws.
According to gossip site TMZ.com, Michael Jackson, 50, died this afternoon after being rushed to the hospital in L.A. following cardiac arrest.

I can’t get a grip on the fact that Michael Jackson passed away yesterday……each day feels just like hearing the news for the first time all over and over again…it’ll never be old news to me….Michael Jackson is gone….and I’m still here?
My goodness….Michael Jackson is gone and I’m still here….I don’t know how I feel about that….surprised? sacrificial? sad? love? proud? hopeful? expectant? thankful? satisfied? grieving? motivated? suspect? acceptance.
But my goodness…Michael Jackson is gone and I’m still here….confirmation that God ain’t through with my journey yet.
Michael Jackson seemed to know of his purpose as he truly used his celebrity image to help those in need…”heal the world…make it a better place”……..now more than ever……….maybe we understand his message..”for you and for me.”
Whew…Michael Jackson is gone…my prayers go deep for his family…..may they be given strength to make it through their personal loss….imagine the shock or loss we’re feeling as fans?….it’s absolutely nothing compared to actually being a family member living the loss…
I’m hurt but I’m inspired……….that as I begin to understand my purpose in this life’s journey…my motivation is to also “heal the world, make it a better place”….so fight! …..when times are hard………Michael Jackson was a strong man….role model..
I’m still in shock….so I accept….Michael Jackson is gone……..and we’re still here…my prayers for your strength amongst the many challenges you’ve experienced in this journey of life……………tolerance………………is peace.

it’s funny how the world can love you but still have hurtful things to say about you, so this is for Michael for all of his haters, ”judge not so that you are not judged” remeber that because those few words just might take you a long way in life, tomorrow is not promised to any of us and remeber this, when you start pointing fingers—turn around and take a look at the ones that are being pointed tat you, R.I.P. my young brotha and please once that you’re settled in Heaven pray for those who could not or would not pray for you, God bless you my brotha.
