On Tues., March 16 Snowden returns to play the Earl after a long hiatus that has found the group’s frontman and principle songwriter Jordan Jeffares relocating to New York. For this show, Jeffares along with Chandler Rentz (drums), Corinne Lee (bass/keyboard/vocals) and David Payne (guitar) are armed with a new batch of  dark, atmospheric indie rock from a forthcoming EP that is just a glimpse of things to come.

?
Chad Radford:  Has the move to New York been good for you? For Snowden?__?
Jordan Jeffares:  The move is just part of me trying new things.  There will be more visible movement this year in the form of releases, touring, etc.  I’ve been working hard writing and recording but unfortunately in the bigger picture no one sees any of that.  People wonder what happened to the band over the last few years and the short answer is that I’m figuring out how to move forward very, very carefully.
