Scooter Braun, manager of rapper Asher Roth and pop sensation Justin Bieber, was arrested this week on charges of reckless endangerment and criminal nuisance. No, Braun didn’t get too wasted during spring break and streak in a public place. He was arrested as a result of a November riot — caused by THOUSANDS of prepubescent girls who showed up at Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, New York expecting to meet Bieber for autographs.

Police warned Braun to tweet that the event was canceled because they feared the crowd would grow to uncontrollable numbers and become unruly. He refused until almost 3,000 fans flash mobbed the mall to see Bieber. If found guilty, Braun could face up to a year in prison. A hearing is set for April 7 for Braun, who is currently free, according to Rodney Ho of the AJC.
