Sir Lucious Leftfoot drops July 6

According to Rap Radar, barring an extinction level event, Big Boi’s long-awaited solo album, Sir Lucious Leftfoot: Son of Chico Dusty, will be released on July 6. This news comes after Daddy Fat Sacks reunited with longtime boss and label executive, L.A. Reid, over at Def Jam.
If you’ve been keeping count like we have, you know the world has been waiting on Sir Lucious Leftfoot for two years since Royal Flush dropped. Since then we’ve heard tracks from the album featuring Mary J. Blige, Gucci Mane, Too $hort and George Clinton.
Now that Billy Ocean is signed to Def Jam, not only has the album been given a release date, but another single, “Shutterbug.” Between this and the news of THREE Andre 3000 features on the album, there’s a reason for ‘Kast fans to be excited.
