Trackside Tavern damaged by fire

Tuesday, January 20th, 2009

Details are still coming in, but Decatur Metro reports that sometime this morning Trackside Tavern and the neighboring 5th Earl Market on College Ave. in Decatur were damaged by a fire. The extent of the damage is unconfirmed, but comments posted at Decatur Metro make sound like both businesses took a substantial hit.

More information will be posted as it becomes available.

***Update***

Details regarding the fire that ravaged Trackside Tavern and appears to have caused some pretty substanital damage to 5th Earl Market as well remain to be determined.

In the meantime Atlanta resident Ali Laipple’s Facebook page features several photos of the damage to both the front and backsides of the building.
