Feeding Fingers play live for People TV this Saturday
Friday, July 25th, 2008
Feeding Fingers’ Myspace page says they’re a post-punk / indie / new wave band, which almost makes sense. Not to get hung up on semantics here, but the de-emphasis of the word “goth” feels a bit suspect.
If you were to seek them out in search of some blistering and fast-paced post-punk anthems that are in league with what most people think of when they say “post-punk” (i.e. Mission of Burma, Gang of Four et. al.) you might feel slighted when you uncover a band that lists the Cure, Depeche Mode and the Cocteau Twins as influences. But again, this is all a matter of semantics.
Decide for yourself this weekend when Feeding Fingers play live for the Public Access TV station People TV (channel 24 for those who have Comcast cable) this Saturday, July 26th at 3 p.m. Taping is free and open to anyone who wants to attend.
