The freewheelin’ holiday lights tour

T-minus seven days until Christmas. Wish it was Christmas today?

Bicycle Tours of Atlanta rolls out it’s Holiday Lights Bicycle Tours tonight through Jan. 3. The ride starts and finishes at the Georgian Terrace under a flurry of fake snow, and runs past Woodruff Park, Underground Atlanta, Fairlie Poplar and Centennial Olympic Park.

Guests receive bicycles outfitted with front and rear lights, helmets and bottled water. Tours are approximately six miles and last up to 2 hours.  Although there will be a break the tour is recommended for guests 16 years and older who lead an active lifestyle and enjoy the great outdoors year-round. Tours are $30 per guest and depart nightly at 8 p.m. from The Georgian Terrace Hotel located at 659 Peachtree Street across from the Fox Theatre. Group rates are available - please call 404-273-2558 or visit www.biketoursatl.com.

Don’t have $30 burning a hole in your bike shorts? Check out these routes recommended to CL by Critical Mass member Charles Ponder in last year’s Hard Times Holiday Guide.
