2. The Studio at 620 opens Here to There: A Photography-Based Research Project and Exhibit this Saturday afternoon. The featured photos were taken by refugee youths representing eight different countries, and local foster care kids, who were given cameras to snap pics of their daily experiences. Opening reception 2 to 5 p.m. Sat., Aug. 23, with the works on display through Aug. 30, noon-4 p.m. Tues.-Sat., 620 First Ave. S., downtown St. Petersburg, free admission.
3. He’s Bond. James Bond. And he’s coming to a theater near you. Beach Theatre. The St. Pete Beach movie house stages a James Bond Festival this weekend.
