1. Snag one (or all) of four much-anticipated new albums that come out today: Calexico’s sixth, Carried by Dust, which features sit-ins by Sam Beam (Iron & Wine), Douglas McCombs (Tortoise) and singer/songwriter Pieta Brown; Michael Franti & Spearhead’s sixth, All Rebel Rockers; Okkervil River’s The Stand Ins, the so-called sequel to the band’s 2007 album, The Stage Names; and Lightbulbs, Fujiya & Miyagi’s sophmore effort.

2. St. Petersburg Times columnist Ernest Hooper, Tampa Tribune columnist William March, and WMNF assistant news director Mitch Perry take part in “Media Roundtable Version 2.0 – Recapping Current Events,” a public media panel discussion moderated by democratic speechwriter Tyler Hudson and hosted by Democratic Professionals Council (DPC) of Tampa. 11:30 a.m., Mise en Place, 442 W. 3. Tune in to Bravo’s latest docu-drama, The Rachel Zoe Project, which follows professional fashion stylist Rachel Zoe (Nichole Richie, Cameron Diaz) as she expands her business horizons with husband/business manager Roger, and fashion team Tayor and Brad. Premieres at 10 p.m. on Bravo.
