Five Things to Do Today

1. “The Revival Tour” — which features solo acoustic sets by Chuck Ragan of Hot Water Music (pictured, photo by Jason Smith), Ben Nichols of Lucero and Tim Barry of Avail — stops in Tampa tonight. 8 p.m., Orpheum, $15 (all ages).

2. MOSI recently opened a feature-length IMAX Dome Theatre film, Kilimanjaro: To the Roof of Africa. David Breasheras’ doc follows five adventurers as they embark on a 10-day, 55-mile climb through the five climatic zones of Mount Kilimanjaro. 10:10 a.m., 12:25 p.m., 2:45 p.m., Museum of Science & Industry, Tampa, $10.95 adults/$9.95 seniors/$8.95 children.

3. Freight Train Annie’s Girlie Show concert series continues tonight with sets by Christie Lenee and Lounge Kitty. 8 p.m., Skipper’s Smokehouse, $7.

4. University of Tampa’s resident faculty brass quintet, Tampa Brass, performs a concert of standards as well as contemporary pieces by Jamey Simmons, a student composer at Middle Tennesse State University, and Gwyneth Walker, a full-time composer based in Vermont. 7:30 p.m., Grand Salon at UT, free admission.

5. Peace Week at USF continues with a “Bring Your Own Knowledge Day.” Community members and students share their knowledge and know-how on anything from fixing a bike to increasing peace literacy. 9 a.m.-5 p.m., MLK Plaza at USF Tampa, free admission.
