1. I did it. CL Publisher Sharry Smith did it, too, and I got to watch. 2. Humane Society of Pinellas offers a three-week “Petiquette Class.” Participants get behavior questions answered, learn how to teach their dogs new behaviors and solve unwanted behaviors, and much more. 3. Nova Art Lounge launches a new Wednesday “Nova Nights” series. Ladies who wear red enjoy free tastings of red wine and vodka from 7 to 9 p.m.

4. Tonight’s program topic at the Tampa Bay Sierra Club General Meeting is “Will Your Vote Count in November?” with Buddy Johnson, supervisor of elections for Hillsborough County. The public is welcome to attend. 6:30 p.m., Children’s Board of Hillsborough County, Tampa, free admission.

5. St. Pete photographer Herb Snitzer talks about his 1959 black-and-white photograph “Freedom Now” — an image from Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art’s permanent collection influenced by the Civil Rights Movement — during an “On the Easel” discussion, which ties in with the current exhibition, Mel Finkelstein: Playing a Hunch. Noon, LRMA, lecture included with museum admission: $5 adults, $4 seniors; free for members.
