Tampa Theatre encores Rachel Getting Married

Tampa Theatre is making a habit out of reviving last year’s films that are now up for serious award consideration. First, I got word that Woody Allen’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona would menage it’s way back onto the big screen from Jan. 16 through 21st. Now, the Sony Pictures Classics publicity department is reporting that Jonathan Demme’s Rachel Getting Married will again unspool at the Tampa Theatre starting Jan. 23. Rachel received excellent reviews upon release (yeah, we liked it), and should be up for several Oscar nods, including one for star Anne Hathaway.
What’s next, Tampa Theatre? You guys planning a WALL-E screening anytime soon?
