Seasons 52 – the Orlando-based, healthy restaurant/wine bar chain– arrives in Tampa within the year. A reliable source revealed that, if all goes well with city permitting, the space previously occupied by Steak and Ale at Westshore Mall will be the Tampa location.
Their “casually sophisticated” dining concept revolves around serving “highly flavored meals that are better for you and focus on the best of each season.” Many of the menu items fall in the lighter, low-calorie category, either grilled or steamed. They also feature 120 wines, 60 of them available by the glass. Entrees, which include both vegetarian and gluten-free selections, range from $11.50 to $26.95, with winter offerings like Caramelized Sea Scallops grilled and served with roasted asparagus and sundried tomato pearl pasta and Oak-Roasted Pork Tenderloin corn polenta cakes, spinach, cremini mushrooms and sherry glaze.
Seasons 52 is making a play in the northeast, opening a location in New Jersey in April. This brings the total number of stores to eight.
