By now the sun was blazing into the room from behind the thick curtains. The shadows from her succulent body fell across his chest as she climbed on top of him. After all the long nights talking and sharing innocent tenderness, the confidence she was exuding was amazing to him.  He had no idea how nervous she really was.  It was now she who had trouble looking at his face.  She had never been able to look into the eyes of a lover until that very moment. Something about finally being with him changed every equation.

His eyes loved falling deep into hers, but couldn’t help but notice again how beautiful her naked body looked above him. He wrapped his hands her waist and down to her ass as she gently slipped him inside of her. Their bodies now connected as one and they both let the rush of the stimulation take control and let out deep moans. The next half hour was all about him. She knew him, she adored him. Though she’d never been able to share that with him, she hoped he knew it already. Airport send-offs are never easy. This one was no different considering the unique circumstances. After the most amazing day shared together, passionately and sexually, it was time to part ways. The pair who had talked so long, so in depth, were now too afraid to speak. Pleasantries were exchanged and he did hold her hand on the ride to the airport. She was so terrified of her draw to him. How could something she wanted and deserved be so hard to reach out for?

”What the hell are you afraid of?” she kept repeating in her head, not that her brain was listening.

As they approached her gate he couldn’t help but think of the gravity of it all. He most definitely felt her deep within his heart and mind but the reality of the situation was still ever present. Though they shared such an unspoken bond and took part in the sweetest of days he knew they’d have to take separate flights. They’d go home to their separate lives. He knew being together was impossible due to the circumstances they’d fought so hard to ignore.

She loved that he walked her to her gate, but now saying goodbye was a moment she dreaded. They embraced for a long goodbye hug and this time his lips found their way directly to her lips. The kiss they shared would rival that of long at war soldiers returning to sweethearts. A tingling sensation swept over her that she didn’t try to hide. With an intoxicating grin he wished her goodbye and let her go to her flight. She stopped just shy of the gate, hoping he hadn’t left yet. Two dear friends left it at that….an amazing wedding date.
