Would you be gay for pay?

Attention heterosexuals: how much would you need to be paid to sleep with a person of the same sex? $100? $1,000? Would you work at a gay club or bar and flirt with the same sex if it meant doubling or even tripling your income? Recently, I broached the topic of being gay for pay with a group of friends and opinions varied.
I’ve always had the belief that the majority of the population, respectfully excluding homosexuals, have had thoughts about experimenting with the same sex. The difference between being bi-sexual or homosexual and straight is the actual act occurring. I would not consider someone having fantasies about girl-on-girl or guy-on-guy sex bi-sexual or gay. Fantasies are simply the marriage between your imagination and curiosity, acting out those fantasies is different.
Believe it or not, urban dictionary has a great definition for Gay For Pay: a straight actor who performs homosexual acts in pornographic movies for the sole purpose of incurring monetary gain or a straight guy who shags men for money. In my personal opinion I would definitely work at a gay bar or club for more money. My whole life I have been a trained dancer and would feel more comfortable dancing on a bar at a gay club than a strip club. Unfortunately, there is a stigma that follows exotic dancers in a strip club which would push me to strut my stuff as a go-go in gay club.
For the record I have been to a gay bar or two in the past and the thought that the employees may be straight never crossed my mind. Females seem to be more open to the idea of flirting with girls for extra coin. “I dance on the bar at G. Bar in Downtown Ybor now and I flirt…” “We, after all, are to appear single but unattainable,” said a heterosexual G. Bar dancer.
Let’s take it a step further. Would you do gay or lesbian porn if it meant a few thousand dollars more? A close gay friend enlightened me that roughly 30 percent of men in gay porn are straight. They perform in homosexual porn to get more money and more attention. In fact, MTV did a True Life special featuring a male in a heterosexual relationship that did guy-on-guy porn for the extra cash. His girlfriend was uncomfortable with her boyfriend’s choice of profession, but insisted that he is straight.
It can be argued that porn is a form of acting, but in my opinion you know what you are getting into when you watch porn: sex and lots of it. Everyone knows it is a rarity to find a porn with even decent acting (if you have one in mind please enlighten me). The actors are there to do one thing: fuck on camera.
Reverting back to the gay bar and flirting or even kissing for extra tips. If I make-out with a girl does that mean I am bi-sexual or just a straight girl kissing another girl? We all may have a little bi-sexual in us, but where do we draw the line between bi-sexual and straight? How are homosexuals to know then whether it is real or just false advertising?
