Do It Tonight: John Hemingway and Friends at Karma Bar

Just got a last minute email about an event that takes place tonight in Tampa: John Hemingway and Friends, an evening of Florida arts featuring works by Florida artist Kumpa Tawornprom, live music by Florida musicians Ben Plott, Brahm Bones and boon, and readings by Florida authors John Hemingway (who celebrates the release of his new memoir, Strange Tribe), Ira Sukrungruang (Talk Thai), Jim Miller (”When to Lie”) and J’aimé Sanders (The Rabbit Hole). Hemingway holds a signing following his presentation.
Fri., June 26, 6 p.m.-2 a.m., Karma Bar & Café, 206 N. Morgan St., downtown Tampa, $10 general admission.
