Daily Loaf

Parties aren’t like they used to be. This weekend my husband and I attended a party with a mixed crowd: swingers (me and soccer dad), voyeurs (one couple), and non-swingers (everyone else). We’ve seen the voyeur couple a few times at local swinger clubs and actually know them from our vanilla life. They like dressing and behaving borderline inappropriate, but never actually have sex with others. They claim they’re swingers but I think they just like the attention.

No one else at the party is aware of our lifestyle. We have known most of the people for a few years, but have never socialized on a regular basis.

We go to the party early in the afternoon, then return later when it is in full swing (no pun intended). Women in bikinis are jumping in and out of the pool. Everyone is pretty well intoxicated and the conversations are just as loose. Mr. Birthday (spouse of the birthday girl) talks about the voyeur woman sucking his cock as Mrs. Birthday tries to wrestle everyone. This is our second encounter with people wanting to wrestle when drunk. What is all the wrestling about?? Is it a new vanilla party game?

Mrs. Birthday takes Mr. Voyeur behind the pool screen for a wresting secession. She’s in a bikini and he’s in swim shorts. This is crazy to me, and I’m a married woman who delights in sleeping with strangers. I don’t know who won the match, but Mrs. Birthday did finish by flashing her nipples.

Mr. Voyeur repeatedly tries to get everyone to skinny dip. Meanwhile Mrs. Voyeur has exchanged her bikini for a long sleeve t-shirt sans underwear. Keep in mind these aren’t college aged partiers; everyone is mid to late 30s and early 40s.

It’s getting late and my husband and I decide to leave. The hostess walks us to the door and apologizes for all the craziness saying, “I don’t like all this swapping couples talk. We don’t participant in that kind of thing.”

Laughing to myself, I say “It’s ok. It didn’t bother me.”

I’m not shocked by the fact that people become more liberal when alcohol is involved. What amazes me is that these same people who are saying “suck my cock” or sitting in bikinis on the laps of other women’s husbands shun the swinger lifestyle.

I guess swingers are a different breed. Most swingers (although there are always exceptions) know how to approach someone for sex without announcing to everyone such things like Mrs. Birthday wants her box licked.
