Behind the scenes: Acafool music video shoot

Production just wrapped on the set of local artist Acafool’s music video “Let’s Ride,” a catchy hip-hop song featured in the movie Fast and Furious 4. As head makeup artist, I had exclusive access to every shot from the crew call at 8 p.m. to the 5 a.m. wrap. Check out the behind the scenes photos just below the break…
Production began at Nova 535, the St. Pete event venue and art lounge.
Local artist Acafool commands the spotlight as he performs “Let’s Ride” in the South Core Parking Garage in downtown St. Pete.

It’s me, Kim Colvin (far right), getting Acafool camera ready and touching up lipgloss and body shimmer on the female talent.
The cars featured in the video were provided by Team SSP, and featured a tricked-out 2003 Nissan 350z, a yellow and black 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer, and an inky black BMW among others.
