Country pop singer-songwriter Taylor Swift (the delicate blond who was the unfortunate victim of Kanye West’s latest MTV temper tantrum) has officially sold out the first date of her “FEARLESS Tour 2010″ tour, which happens to take place March 4, 2010, at Tampa’s own St. Pete Times Forum.

Here’s the release I received about it today:

Taylor Swift’s FEARLESS Tour 2010 will start at the St. Pete Times Forum with a sold out crowd. Tickets for the launch of the successful tour went on sale October 30th at 10am. Shortly after, the performance scheduled for March 4 was sold out! In addition to opening night, the excitement surrounding this tour has sold out many other dates around the country.

The excitement to see the young country star sold out four shows in the New York area within two minutes. The tour also sold out multiple shows at arenas in Newark, Uniondale, Philadelphia, Houston and Detroit. Fans from Washington DC, Dallas, Kansas City, Austin, Corpus Christi and many others scheduled on the tour will welcome Taylor to their city with sold out crowds as well.

“I’m so excited to take the FEARLESS Tour back out on the road again in 2010!” says Taylor. “This year’s tour has been so much fun and even more unforgettable than I ever imagined. The fans have been so amazing, and I’m thrilled to play in new cities and see even more of my fans on the 2010 FEARLESS Tour!”

Taylor’s good friend, American Idol finalist Kellie Pickler, again joins Taylor as a featured artist on all of the North American FEARLESS dates, and top selling new artist of 2009 Gloriana returns to open all of the shows.

The North American FEARLESS Tour is produced and promoted by The Messina Group (TMG.) TMG is a partner of AEG Live, one of the top live entertainment companies in the world, which produces world tours featuring internationally renowned artists and regional concerts and festivals.

Taylor’s Big Machine Records album releases, Fearless and her self-titled debut, have topped 10 million copies in combined total sales, plus an additional 20 million paid song downloads. On October 27 Big Machine released an enhanced version of the Fearless album; a CD/DVD dual set entitled Fearless Platinum Edition.
