The folks over at Sonic have a new customer appreciation giveaway. Wednesday June 3rd from 8pm to midnight, Sonic will be giving away free 10 ounce Root Beer Floats.

In an effort to draw attention to the plight of the honey bee, Haagen-Dazs is having a Bee-built Flavor Day on Tuesday May 12th.
From 4pm – 8pm (at participating locations) you can get a free single scoop of any of the Haagen-Dazs Bee-built flavors.
The only locations in the area are International Plaza and Countryside Mall, but I do not know if they are “participating locations.”

Typically, as Cheap Bastard, this would not be an event that I would attend since it is priced well outside my comfort zone. However, in true Cheap Bastard style, I scored a free ticket and the game was on.
I am no stranger to the juice. I love it so much, it is the one alcohol that I would keep if I were forced to choose only one type in some weird “Saw”-esqu nightmare (sorry beer & liquor). I have plenty of tastings under my belt and a more than cursory knowledge of grapes and styles, so I figured I was up for the challenge. In hindsight, I think I was wrong.
How fitting that the Cheap Bastard gets to post this freebie on the way out of town to enjoy the show.

IHOP is celebrating National Pancake Day (which happens to be Mardi Gras or Shrove Tuesday) with a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes.
They invite you to make a donation for a really good cause – the Children’s Miracle Network program at All Children’s Hospital. Last year IHOP raised more than $875,000!!!

Great way to start hump day… free coffee from Dunkin’ Donuts. According to television ads, the remaining Wednesdays in February, Dunkin’ Donuts will be handing out a free medium coffee with no additional purchase required.

I haven’t personally confirmed this in Tampa, but many Chick Fil A’s across the nation are offing a free breakfast promotion of sorts during February, including down in south Florida.
Examples of the promotions in other markets: return of the free Wednesday offer (chicken biscuit or one of the new options) and a free breakfast item weekday mornings (this is the south Florida deal).
Anyone want to comment back with a confirmation?
All day long (Wednesday 1/28), Panera Bread is giving away FREE coffee. Plus they are having samples of the new breakfast menu items for you to try (and try again and again). Hunker down and score breakfast on the cheap.
