Katie Machol — Contributor

I am a recent graduate of the International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Tampa. My previous culinary work experience includes working in a banquet kitchen and at Marchand’s at the Renaissance Vinoy, as well as the former Tastings wine bar, in downtown St. Petersburg. Currently, I am a food stylist at the Home Shopping Network, which involves preparing and styling food to be cooked or presented on-air. I’d like to pursue a career in food styling and recipe development for television and print. Some of my favorite cuisines are Mexican, Thai and Southwestern/Tex-Mex. I love to experiment in the kitchen (and it usually involves a lot of spice) and re-work recipes to put my own spin on them.
