A dream poem for a contemplative day
Dream Momma is a closet poetry reader. She adores the dark side of poetry the European poets do so well. She hears of and reads many dreams about skeletons. There was a blog on one a few weeks ago. Today her energy is dedicated to the 1980 Literature Nobelist, poet Czeslaw Miloz
and his rich poem, A Skull.
A Skull
“I gather dreams of the skull for I am it,
Impetuous, enamored, suffering in the gardens,
Under a dark window, uncertain whether it’s mine
And for no one else, the secret of her pleasure.”
