After a break for the past couple of weeks, Brian invites Grayson and Alex from GNATV.com to come in and talk about their new season of video restaurant reviews and such. They’re embarking on a four-episode adventure into the fine art of backyard gardening, mainly so Grayson can sate his incredible appetite for parsnips.

Your Creative Loafing food contributors, GNATV and Katie Machol, joined forces to bring you this entertaining video tutorial on how to prepare “Fiesta Mac n’ Cheese” in a rice cooker. This easy recipe can be prepared in a jiffy just using a rice cooker. A little late for Cinco de Mayo, but a fun and tasty dish for any time of the year!

Dudes and Food — GNAtv

I just discovered GNAtv (thanks to EatingTampa), but this group of USF kids and recent graduates — headlined by Grayson and Alex (that’s him in the pic) — have been posting video reviews of local eateries for months now. There’s also a blog, which veers between addled college drinking antics, philosophical conversations and vaguely food-related content like: “Today I hocked this loogie. It was covered in blood. One time I coughed up a piece of rice despite not eating rice for like a month. Maybe it wasn’t rice.”

Hey, watch the videos anyway. Just some dudes eatin’ food, but they’ve got the kind of fresh perspective you can’t get from the rest of us hoighty reviewers.
