Alright everybody, the jig is up. I know I had you all fooled with my occasional, over-achieving nights of 2-1 predictions, but after my second 0-3 performance in this column�s brief two-week history, I must come clean: I am not a professional gambling tout. I know a lot about sports, but apparently not enough about statistics to successfully pick winners on a line set by mathematical geniuses that do it everyday for a living. Readers are starting to catch on and have even challenged me in a heads-up picking competition. So far, I�ve lost to a wandering hippy with a camera, and I�m currently doing battle with a girl - Casey McIntyre - who claimed that she�d pick her teams based on which mascot she likes more. If she beats me for an entire week, I�ve agreed to change the name of the column to Mama Needs a New Handbag. Fuck it, here are tonight�s �expert� picks.
1) Denver Nuggets �3 at Seattle Supersonics
That�s my pick, take it or leave it.
2) Phoenix Suns �5.5 at Washington Wizards
Why not?
3) Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles �6 vs. Murray State Racers
