am). But here’s an interesting factoid to refresh your interest: Did
you know that ATL bassist MC Divinity is in Ms. Bootylicious’ backing band? Yep,
Divi Baby was selected in a nationwide talent search last year,
catapulting her from Apache Caf�’s Mic Club to last year’s BET Awards
in a matter of weeks.
Obviously Divinity doesn’t actually play on “Irreplaceable,” but you
can see her near the end of the clip, shaking her red dreadlocks
alongside the rest of Beyonce’s all-woman band. Consider it a preview
to the real deal when Beyonce goes on tour this spring.
