Streetalk: Should the Falcons change their name to the Fightin’ Pit Bulls?

Michael & Austin: Yes, if they’re going to keep Michael Vick. People are already afraid of Austin and he is the sweetest dog in the world. Being a pit bull owner, just the thought of those dogs fighting to death is unsettling to say the least. This is the icing on the cake. The situation is definitely making it worse for pit bull owners. I already get grief in Piedmont Park.

Torwa & Alley: No. If they change it to ‘Fightin’ Pit Bulls’ everyone is going to want a freakin’ fighting pit bull. That’s why I have a tamed pit. Somebody was beating Alley and put her out at PetSmart, bleeding and cut up. We are rehabilitating her because of people like Vick. I already didn’t like him off of the herpes thing. Maybe he’s got one more time until he does another really stupid thing.

Sherwood & Zeta: Not really. Pit bulls have a bad rap because of the owners. I’ve had Zeta for four years. She loves kids and other dogs. It’s pretty much how you raise them. If you teach them to be violent, they’ll be violent. I met Vick. He’s a nice guy. But we choose our paths. You have to know what’s going on on your property. I hope he doesn’t come in and punch me in my face.
