Yes, we must be racists because we keep putting criminals in jail. It can’t be that they commit more crime per capita. It couldn’t be the economic “disenfranchisement” we hear so much about. It couldn’t be the school drop out rate. It couldn’t be the lack of presence of a “baby Daddy” (ask yourself why we even HAVE that term???). It couldn’t be the drug dealers for role models instead of Dad. It couldn’t be the victim mentality of community leaders.
No, it can’t be those things, it must be a clearly racist criminal justice system. The same one that can’t seem to arrest a black guy who stole $ 5,000 worth of my property, even though I gave the cops a printout of the Craig’s List ad, the pawn shop where he pawned it and names and phone numbers of everyone involved in the chain of events.
Apparently, all I need to do is explain to the cops that I am a white man and I expect our racist justice system to come to my aid.
