Gospel according to Lenny

On Saturday morning, approximately 200 Christians, Muslims, Jews, atheists, homosexuals and none-of-the-aboves marched from Peachtree Center to the Capitol.
They called it the Pro-Love March and, according to organizers, it was intended to promote peace through mutual understanding and tolerance among groups of people who do not always get along.
The event’s emotional climax came when Pastor D.E. Paulk, quoting noted philosopher and ladies’ man Lenny Kravitz, demanded of attendees that they “let love rule.â€
Kravitz is apparently a favorite of the event’s organizers. He’s quoted on the event’s website, alongside MLK Jr. and Gandhi.

I am SO sick of the Paulks!! I was there for many years and this is just another attempt on their part to get some media attention that doesn’t involve their sex scandals. Anyone with any sense has long ago left that church. These people aren’t Christians in any sense of the word. They are a cult in south DeKalb county that has had a steady stream of loss of members because of women in their congregation being sexually molested and abused by the leadership. Donnie Earl’s dad was involved in a well-publicised scandal in 1992 and if you take the trouble to Google Earl Paulk there is listed there everything you will ever need to know. In depositions it has been revealed that Earl has molested everyone from other pastor’s daughters to his own grandkids. Now Chapel Hill is trying to appeal to the gay community to provide them with membership and income. Please don’t fall for it. These people don’t care about anything but your money to keep paying their attorneys who are right now dealing with lawsuits against the church because of the molestations. These people are nothing but trouble. They want to promote tolerance and “peace” because they want people to forget the truth about them. Educate yourselves about the Paulks before thinking they have anything good to sell! Even Jesus said good fruit can’t come from a rotten tree.

Oh Brother!!
As, thank God, an ex-member
I see this kind of lies from people that want M O N E Y
hopefully YOUR MONEY!! If you have any!!
the “leadership” is sick and twisted
check out all the lawsuits including FEDERAL LAWSUITS!!
they don’t care about people
when someone left that place they were BLASTED from the pulpit
the members were told if they left without permission THEY WERE OUT OF THE
WILL OF GOD
this is a cult
not a church
Lyn Mays one of the so-called “pastors” told me that “gay people are in sin”
she said one time they tried to “help them” but they kept “getting together”
and they had to “drop the ministry”
now they are saying they are reaching out to them!@!
Be Ware
I left that “church” three years ago and had to seek therapy do to the harm that I suffered there
the members that are left are like “robots”
one day the docket will call these people into court
I am waiting for that day!!
Shame on you Paulks!! For this outrage of lies!!!

All Atlanta marched? Please! A couple hundred folks doesn’t qualify as the whole city. And where is the love? The only thing the leadership at that church loves is spelled M-O-N-E-Y. And now that the church coffers are dwindling once again due to publicized sex scandals, they’ve had to come out with a new message for a new generation of people, hoping that it will turn people’s eyes off the recent scandal and they will get a few new members in the process — a few who will help pay the power bill for the cathedral so they can go back to having services there instead of in the atrium. This is part of the dog and pony show that happens every time a Paulk gets accused of sexual abuse, starting with Earl Paulk in 1992. Before that point, church membership was estimated at 10-12K. Now they are struggling with less than 200 in attendance on Sunday mornings. And I want to know where they get off calling themselves Christians. The brand of theology the Paulks are preaching isn’t found in any Bible I’ve read. Aligning themselves with the likes of Carlton Pearson can only have disastrous results. I hope current members will get disgusted and fed up enough to take off the rose colored glasses and see things the way they really are, then get the heck out of Dodge. The parallels with this church and Jim Jones are absolutely frightening. For those who aren’t familiar with the ministry, please Google Jim Jones, Earl Paulk and Carlton Pearson, and come to your own conclusions. The information is definitely out there for anyone who is willing to do a little research. But please don’t give a dime to this ministry until you have done your homework.

I did not make the connection between DE Paulk and Earl Paulk when I wrote this yesterday.
The print edition of CL, which comes out on Thursday, will note the Earl Paulk connection.

I am among the thousands who have fled that place. These people have run the gamut at bilking more people everytime the sex scandals and ruthless money tactics cause them to implode. Yes Google “Earl Paulk” and then go on a “pro-love walk with that bunch if you want to. If you have money to give they will kiss your ass to your face and then talk about you like trash behind your back. Believe it I have heard it with my own ears. A real bunch of sickos they are. Scandal and sexual abuse has been recorded since the 1960’s. Incest and even bringing in out of state associates for sex. Donnie Earl Paulk, the chosen replacement for the disgraced elder Paulks has one motive. Appeal to whatever group he can to try and save a sinking ship. That huge cathedral sits empty from the evil that has been exposed. Don’t be duped. You will be so sorry. Pro-love…. HA! The only people that the Paulks love are themselves!

Thank you Andisheh for that! Yes, Donnie Earl Paulk is Earl Paulk’s nephew, and Don Paulk’s son, of the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, Chapel Hill Harvester Church, Cathedral at Chapel Hill, whatever they are calling themselevs these days. Every time there is a major church scandal (which is often) the leadership at CHHC changes the church name and hope people don’t have long memories. As has been mentioned, as early as 1960 Earl Paulk was caught in a sex scandal when he was senior pastor at Hemphill Church of God, which became Mt. Paran, and was forced to resign from that post and leave Atlanta in disgrace. Lawsuits by those who have been molested have been settled out of court over the ensuing decades. There is a current lawsuit of Earl by a woman he molested that is not being settled. Lawyers are expensive so Donnie Earl is trying his best to scare up some money – be it from Muslims, Jews, Atheists, homosexuals, they don’t care so long as your money is green. This is not about love, this is about money. Donnie Earl has the unenviable task of trying to keep people from remembering his church’s history. Sorry, too many of us were there from the beginning and we all remember and we keep spreading the word. Beware of the Paulks and whatever they call their church!
