To a hammer, every problem is a nail

August 1, 2007 at 7:48 pm by Andisheh Nouraee in News

An entire span of the I-35 bridge crossing the Mississippi River in Minneapolis collapsed about 90 minutes ago.

There are still people walking around the parts of the collapsed bridge not submerged in the river.

I turned on CNN Headline News to see what’s happening and there’s Nancy Grace, nostrils-a-flarin’, discussing how the people on the bridge and their families are going to be able to sue.

Can we get them off the rubble first, Nancy?

The most trusted name in news.

Puke.

Nancy Grace is SO hot! Oh, man! The anger! The fury! The implied discipline and punishment! Sentence me NOW, bitch!

Nancy Grace, like most TV “journalists” is a joke.

She is almost as bad as the jackass at the Minneapols paper saying the bridge collapsed because the government is a cheapskae (WTF??? Government doesn’t spend ENOUGH money?!?), the Governor wouldn’t raise taxes for the last six years and the war in Iraq has cost a trillion dollars. Even though the state had a $ 2.7 B surplus. Even though the bridge has been inspected the last two years. Even though the government let it operate with a “50% rating”, whatever that is. The Iraq War is to blame, even though it is the states responsibility to maintain the bridge. There aren’t enough cops on the street, eventhough that is the city and states responsiblity, not the Fed. Schools are crumbling becasue of Iraq, evn though Bush increased Federal school funding by 40% over Clinton. More government and increased taxes are the answers, even though the government assed it up to begin with and had plenty of money to not ass it up.

Even though that columnist in MN is an asshat.
