Vigil for Monica Bowie tonight

Tonight, her friends and family will hold a vigil for her at Hunter Hills Baptist Church, near where a car seen fleeing Bowie’s home on the night of her disappearance was found.

Monica and I attended Cheyney University together. We were neighbors during our freshman year. I have been praying for Monica’s safe return since receiving the news. Our Cheyney family is still in shock. I just want the family to know that I am deeply sadded that “one of ours” was taken. Monica kept me laughing and we always had that Pittsburgh connection. I will continue to pray for you all.
