DELIVERANCE SCOOTER RALLY: Bozo Union Local 536 will prepare a legal complaint or maybe just nine cream pies.

A good time was had by all at the annual Deliverance scooter rally, hosted this past weekend by Atlanta’s Imperial Scooter Club. A highlight was Saturday’s “gymkhana” at Coan Park in Kirkwood, a PBR- and BBQ-fueled competition in which scooterists performed stupid stunts and courted injury for the amusement of onlookers. The final event was the family ride, a contest to see how many indie hipsters could ride on an ancient, small-engine vehicle, the surprise winner being a 1950s-era Fiat 500.
