Anybody who says pole dancing isn’t hard doesn’t know what they’re talking about. She was flying around, upside down, sliding and spinning down, generally defying gravity with a lot of the things she was doing.

— Rusty at Radical Georgia Moderate describes his girlfriend’s recent pole-dance recital. The post includes photos and is lovingly titled “Hot stripper chick.”

1) “We’re going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.”

A. Karl Marx
B. Adolph Hitler
C. Joseph Stalin
D. None of the above

— Jason Pye reproduces a “Who Said It?” quiz that Neal Boortz recently ran on his site. The purpose of the quiz is to demonstrate that Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York is a not-so-crypto-Marxist. A quick Google search reveals the quiz is, not surprisingly, a bullshit mishmash of mangled quotations taken completely out of context.

In a desperate attempt to become John Rambo, Atlanta rapper T.I. was arrested by the ATF in his hometown for trying to have a bodyguard pick up some machine guns with silencers. Last time I checked, unless you are fighting a war, you probably don’t need to “pick up” some machine guns.

— Brick and Stones (emphasis blogger’s), on rapper T.I.’s arrest on Saturday in the parking lot of Walgreens on North Avenue. Because T.I. is a convicted felon, he is legally barred from possessing firearms, let alone machine guns. Nonfelons who wish to legally purchase a machine gun are subject to screening by the ATF.
