BMF trial postponed – again

The trial is now scheduled to start two weeks later, on Nov. 19.
By postponing the trial, the judge ruled in favor of lawyers representing flashy hip-hop entrepreneur Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory. The lawyers were seeking more time to prepare. Though it’s been two years since Flenory was indicted, the government only recently released a large amount of evidence — including recorded phone calls that Flenory and his brother made from jail.
The Flenory brothers are accused of running BMF — an estimated $270 million cocaine ring with ties to the hip-hop industry — as a “continuing criminal enterprise,” a federal crime punishable with a mandatory life sentence.
The Flenorys and six of their 40 co-defendants are being tried in Detroit, where they allegedly birthed the organization before setting up hubs in Atlanta and L.A. The other defendants either have pleaded guilty — some in exchange for testifying against the organization — or are expected to plead guilty.

You up here paying so much attention to these BLACK SCUMBAG DOPE DEALERS, but completly ignored the fact that the Russian Jew JACOB THE JEWELER who was also charged in this BMF indictment plead guilty today to his role in the whole affair, NOT ONCE DID YOU COVER THIS!!!!:

For some reason them being BLACK “scumbag dope dealers” would be different if they were white dope dealers? Mara is the racist??
Also, Jacob is not innocent. When you have a hood-looking group of 20 or so people coming in your shop, handing you large amounts of cash for very expensive jewelry (specifically a platinum watch and rose gold watch, both made by Jacob & Co.), you have a good idea where the money came from. He also later met an ALLEGED associate of Demetrius in a HOTEL ROOM to accept cash payment for jewelry.
Just because he has a good public image doesn’t mean he’s innocent. Also, his case is VERY, VERY minor compared to the one against Demetrius/Terry and their co-defendants. Demetrius and Terry are facing LIFE and have had all their houses, cars, and jewelry taken from them. For that reason, he should be covered as much as he has been in the news — very little.

Yes yes YEESSSSSS!!!!! The EXACT same amount of coverage should be given to minor pawns running a legitimate business for helping hide money as is given to the kingpins of a multi-state ring conspiring to sell poison.
Mr. Cynical is ABSOLUTELY right, those crimes are EXACTLY the same and , therefore, Mara must be RACIST, even though Mr. Cycnical probably doesn’t know what makes a person a racist.

How the hell MONEY LAUNDERING is VERY VERY MINOR?????……that offense alone is a minimum of 20 years, he’s an important part of this conspiracy..he’s the reason why they (bmf) were ALLEGEDLY able to turn over this dope money into legitimate purchases of homes and cars, like i said earlier..and even her editor questioned her on this, why personalities such as MAYOR DIAZ of miami and JACOB THE JEWELER weren’t covered in this story???

Sometimes things are not as they seem, Mr. Cynical.
I’m Mara’s editor. Yes, Jacob the Jeweler is an important part of the story. But he didn’t plead guilty yesterday, he pleaded guilty last week. At the time, Mara was out of the country on a well-deserved vacation. The jeweler’s role in BMF will be substantially covered in Mara’s upcoming cover story on the the BMF trial.

I’m not glorifying drugs or drug dealers at all. However, these dudes did alot for the community. I’m from southwest Detroit where the Flenory’s grew up and I see everything that they did for the hood. We can point fingers at any and everybody that’s involved in this situation but we all know how the dope and the guns get into the country and our neighborhoods. The same group of people that is trying to prosecute them, are the same people that provides these types of organizations with the supplies. No one thinks that deep though right? For the dudes that are turning against the Flenory’s, they should all be shot. When the money was rolling in everything was fine and dandy. However, when the shit hits the fan they want to turn into snitches and rats. If you can live with the ups you got to be able to live with the downs. Now they can’t show their face in the hood anymore. Now their kids gotta grow up knowing that their fathers were snitches. They should have thought about the circumstances when they first got involved.
