Lemme ramble a bit, there is too much going on in Bbib County to focus today. Correct me if i'm wrong but Fresh Loaf hasn't had this many comments in Eons, i think we're on to something... There ain't nothing new under the sun, unless you all come down to the Macon City Auditorium to see Oprah, Saturday at high noon.

This stuff reads like poetry, in motion, wonder why he left out the importance of a good pair of shoes? Maybe it's in another chapter, more later....

Mathew:

13This is why I speak to them in parables:

"Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.

14 In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: " 'You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.

15 For this people's heart has become calloused;
they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes.

Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.'

16But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear.

17For I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous men longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.

Answer to Prayer or Chinamen at work?

www.macon.com/543/story/186899.html

Mark 14
32-34They came to an area called Gethsemane. Jesus told his disciples, "Sit here while I pray." He took Peter, James, and John with him. He plunged into a sinkhole of dreadful agony. He told them, "I feel bad enough right now to die. Stay here and keep vigil with me."

What do you think the mood would be like if you could sit down with Sonny one-on-one and play XTC's "Dear God" for him on vinyl?

Thank you for clarifying that, Odd Ogg.

Sonny prayed to impress man. Had he simply been praying to God he could have done that without the TV cameras.

Scott, you ignorant slut. Elnina is talking about the biblical admonition that you are to pray in secret, not in public like the Republicans. She is quoting a "liberal" Bible verse that is ignored by right-wing loud-mouth Christian assholes like Sonny Perdue. Oh, by the way, when are you going to start writing about butt plugs again?
