I’m not going to give a long lecture on Big Meech and Bmf! I will however say this look at their outcome and use your own better judgment. I dont wish ill will on anyone, least of all someone who has done nothing to me or my family.However we all know that selling drugs in this country is considered illegal.if you choose to do it, you do so knowing what your risk is. He lived a life that many of you obviously have only dreamed of,but it came at a cost when all was said and done! If he approcahes creating and running a legal business with the same drive and motivation that he ran an illegal business he could be quite powerful ,easily on the level of guys such as Russel Simmons,etc etc! Yes the government knows that drugs are being brought into this country . Someone is turning a blind eye ,or particpating at some level higher than usa drug lords,dealers. If your going to go after the dealers and kingpins you should also go after the suppliers and people on higher levels including govt officials that allow this to take place ,but because they are who they are and at the end of the day Meech is who he is ( a black man) he will be a target as were many others who came before him. He had a longer run than most! Yeah hes done alot of good with the money he made,but he also lived what could be considered a life of excess to many! The feds at the end of the day dont care how many children you sent to college or how ,any black folks you helped with money you made illegally.They are only gonna let ya get so far before they pull ya off your pedestal!
Im sure he had his good qualities but lets not compare him to Martin Luther King.Thats a bit extreme dont you think.Dont be groupies. You can respect he man s hustle is ya choose to,but learn to be a free thinker and think for yourself,as opposed to just wanting to feel a part of something.

Malik – I think the true challenge is being honroable and positive by resisting the temptations of easy money from crime. It is much harder to do it legally.

The government is the # 1 enemy? The government operates taxpayer provider services like free education, subsidized food, housing, transportation, jobs, training, etc etc You are absolutley right, they are out to get you.

The government is not the #1 enemy of honest and decent people. It isn’t even the #1 enemy of criminals. Based on what I see in my neighborhood, other criminals are the #1 enemy. That is especially tru of the honest and decent black people who live in our neighborhoods.

Damn, as I dwell in Louisiana awaiting court on a bogus ass conspiracy case myself I’m in awe how so many people have such in depth comments like what these brothers are going through is some sort of Hollywood flict. I feel like if you haven’t been tested you shouldn’t have nothing to say. The true challenge of a man is not how he stands during comfort & convenience, but how he maintains through challenge & controversy. I personally admire anyone who has the creativity to transform a negative situation into a positive one. We all know that it only takes 1 jive ass person to get into trouble, become feeble, and tell the government whatever they want to hear, even if its not true. I don’t agree with pleading out because whatever amount of time you are sentenced to you have to accept, but if you go to trial and are found guilty you can always get back in court on and appeal and continue fighting. If a person is somewhat wise they’ll know that the government is the #1 enemy of blacks in America. STOP VIEWING THE WORLD THROUGH WHITE FOLKS LENSES!
