BMF co-founder follows brother’s lead, pleads guilty
November 21, 2007 at 3:54 pm by Mara Shalhoup in BMF
On Nov. 20, the younger, more understated brother of flashy mob boss Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory pleaded guilty to federal charges. Like his brother the day before, Terry “Southwest T” Flenory admitted to running the $270 million cocaine ring the Black Mafia Family, which was based in Atlanta, Detroit and L.A.
Both brothers entered guilty pleas less than a week before they were scheduled for trial in their native Detroit. Had they been convicted of running a continuing criminal enterprise, they would have faced mandatory life sentences. Instead, the Flenorys could be sentenced to as little as 20 years, though the government is recommending 30.
After spending nearly half an hour huddling with his lawyers, Terry Flenory went before U.S. District Court Judge Avern Cohn yesterday morning and indicated he wanted to go to trial. After he was escorted from the courtroom, he changed his mind and returned to enter a guilty plea.
The Flenory brothers pleaded guilty to the continuing criminal enterprise charge — which is used to take down organized crime rings — and to money laundering. Other charges, including cocaine distribution, were dropped.
Five of the Flenorys’ 39 defendants are still scheduled for trial Nov. 26. The rest either have pleaded guilty or are expected to. What’s more, several investigations into BMF’s activities in Atlanta — including two associates’ alleged roles in three homicides — are ongoing.

Pleading guilty is not equivalent to snitching…the Chief Operating Officer of BMF Ent., J-Bo, plead guilty and got 30 years and that’s that. No cooperation whatsoever. Could have very easily and got his sentence cut in half or more most likely.
You think these men would snitch and not only disgrace themselves in the streets which is the only thing they have known the majority of their lives, but risk their extended families lives (we’re talking not only mother and father but also brothers, children, cousins…) by turning on what the DEA calls “Mexico-based suppliers”. These Mexican based suppliers could get locked up and have all their right-hand men locked up and still have SQUADS of people who do nothing but kidnap, torture, and kill people who are a threat to the organization, despite the fact their leader is in prison. That’s the whole point of the way they organize things and handle things…
Think it’s all “movie gangster” and fear more than reality? How about an except from grand homosexual John Koerts (excuse me, investigator Koerts with the DeKalb County PD on loan to the DEA for the last 3 years) affidavit for a search warrant filed in relation to a home allegedly owned by Demetrius:
“Dennis Kingsley Walker, another Detroit subject who had relocated to Atlanta, was arrested by DEA in Atlanta on May 7, 1994. Walker subsequently entered a guilty plea to a cocaine conspiracy charge and received a five-year federal prison sentence. On October 30, 1997 Walker was discharged from the Dismas House, a halfway house in Atlanta, having completed his sentence, which had been reduced due to information Walker had provided to DEA in regard to a co-defendant, Anthony (Tony) Valentine, another Detroit subject. Valentine, who had been a federal fugitive, was arrested in Azusa, CA in August of 1997. On October 31, 1997, Walker’s first full day of freedom, Walker is known to have spent the evening in the company of several women in the bar at the Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel in downtown Atlanta. Upon leaving the hotel, Walker proceeded northbound on Interstate 85, exited onto the Buford Highway Connector, and was then shot to death in the driver seat of his 1989 Nissan Maxima, a highway drive-by shooting that occurred less than 36 hours after Walker’s release from the halfway house. Walker and the driver side of the vehicle were riddled with bullets fired from close range by a Glock .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol.”
Hope that 36 hours of freedom and reduced sentence was worth it. IMPORTANT TO NOTE HOWEVER THE ONLY EVIDENCE TYING DEMETRIUS TO THE CASE WAS A SNITCH/CONFIDENTIAL INFORMANT. NO CHARGES WERE ABLE TO STICK BECAUSE NO OTHER EVIDENCE EXISTED EXCEPT A SNITCH AND AN INVESTIGATORS VENDETTA EVER SURFACED.
Keep snitching…

I never said pleading guilty and cooperating are the same thing. I just wondered why the cocaine charges were dropped. The Feds, unlike local cops, don’t give up charges easily…. they trade them, usually for info (aka snitchin’).
Drug gang death squads…. sounds like a scene from “Scarface”.
You describe how the drug game is enforced and your example was a guy who got killed in a drive by several months after leaving jail for a halfway house where he was probably given limited freedom and been easily accessible.
Then again, you said the Mexican drug lords would do that . You didn’t mention BMF. I guess BMF didn’t have “squads” of killers and really wasn’t all that powerful. I mean, if you can’t get a guy in a halfway house, how much juice do you have?

How strange… no one’s standing up to defend the brother’s honor.
Maybe he should’ve thrown some money in the air. That always seems to attract support.

BMF is done. CCE is the same a a dope charge and actually they will get more. Let them rot in jail and soon they will all snitch to lessen their sentence. Hope all the partying was worth the 30 years in jail. This is exactly where these scunbags need to be, jail. The remainder of BMF could not operate a coin drink machine. Too stupid and Too lazy. They will be standing on the corner witha dime bag in their pocket. Hooray for the government., long overdue for these scums to be locked up… HAHAHAHAHAHAH

Its high time we stop supporting this behavior in the hood.. I have partied up with these guys at the height of their glory days and it was some good times.. However my friends and I are business owners and may not be rich but we are comfortable and I will never have to worry about going to prison except if someone messes with my family. I hate it for the guy because Meech seemed like a cool guy and its unfortunate because with a mind to run a criminal enterprise, I know he was smart enough to run his own business..
For all of you that wish to glorify this its ok to do what you like but the end is all too familiar dont you think. I mean where Meech is do you really want to see yourself facing a judge talking about 30 years? I mean I know everybody is smart and wont get caught but what happened to getting in and getting out. The Govt has unlimited resources and funds to throw at you to get you off the street.. The odds just dont support the reasoning for doing the crime. They throwing big numbers at people and publically humiliating them so hopefully some kid will see they never want that to happen tp them… The sentencing is outrageous but only because no one seems to be heeding the warning. Do you though and believe the fairy tale if you want but at the end of the day you just cant really sell drugs for a living.

Martin Luther King (MLK): Had a DREAM.
Big Meech: Turned drams into REALITY for himself, his family and thousands of black men & women.
MLK: Appealed to white people to give blacks freedom, justice, equality, housing, jobs.
Meech: CREATED jobs for black people so they could demand and buy housing, equitable treatment, freedom to do whatever the fuck they wanted.
MLK: Made a lot of speeches. TALKED a big game.
Meech: Took action. MADE shit happen.
MLK: Asked for other people to feed the needy.
Meech: Nourished the bodies of thousands of black men, women and families.
MLK: Chased sumstrange pussy on the side.
Meech: A devoted family man with a wife and kids that remain faithful to him as he was to them.

I never realized that MLK was such a loser.
I also never imagined that Meech NEVER took part of the honeys surrounding him.
Wow, the enlightenment continues.
December 10th, 2007 at 8:59 pm
MLK : lived a modest life and then died for his beliefs
Meech: Lived like a king and then plead guilty to reduced charges, shortly followed by major busts of cocaine traffickers and kingpins across the country….a coincidence I am sure, don’tthe Feds always drop charges because they are such nice guys?
December 11th, 2007 at 2:57 pm
How about MLK and Big Meech: No Comparison
How ever to Gold the shit was funny…..
The bottom line is this Meech came from a enviroment where the youngins are only intorduced to the type of lifestyle he lived. The majority of kids growin up here in Detroit, MI a.k.a “The Murder Capitol” all want to blow in the drug game and live flashy lives. He actually made it to a point that most dont even get close to, hell he was under investigation for 15 years and they still didnt even have any legit evidence against him, only some scared ass snitches. He was snitched on once if he had allowed the trial to continue who’s to say he wouldnt have been snitched on again AND this time actually have some valid evidence brought forth to be used against him. he saw opportunity to get a reduced scentence and he took it. Now let the man do his time and keep make’n his money!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. For anyone who thinks BMF is done, you are a GRADE A IDIOT. History itself will show that most drug lords who get knocked only tend to do better once locked up. And Meech is clearly one of the smartest of them all.

You gotta be kidding me. It is a damn shame that some people think that this low life is comparable to MLK? He created jobs? See, when you sell dope, get on DVD’s showing money, women…..you dont think the Feds have DVD players? He aint so tough now……because he cut a deal…..know what that means? That means other will fall because he is a SNITCH now. Thats right……when the FEDS put you in that room and tell you that you looking at LIFE/WITHOUT? All that toughness goes away and the real BITCH comes out. All that shit is temporary once you get to that status…..live like a king for 15 years but live like the penitentary bitch for life.
