Lake Lanier shore being studied for development
January 18, 2008 at 5:01 pm by Thomas Wheatley in NewsThe U.S. Army Corps of Engineers sent out a press release today announcing an environmental impact assessment will be conducted at Bethel Park, a 62-acre parcel of undeveloped land on Lake Lanier’s western shore. According to the release, development proposals have been submitted by the YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta and Forsyth County. The Corps says that 25 acres of the land would remain undeveloped.
