America’s first blind governor?

March 10, 2008 at 3:39 pm by Andisheh Nouraee in Not-lanta

If When New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer surrenders his keys to the governor’s mansion, he will be replaced by Lt. Gov. David Paterson, who is legally blind.

A question for history buffs: Will Paterson be the country’s first blind governor?

    wtf? joke, rite? not sure/get.

“Blind Melon Chitlin” was a character made up by Cheech & Chong (along with the Firesign Theater, the funniest people from the 70s) for a blues-style parody song, the situation is further confused by band named Blind Melon in the 80s and fact that band sucked.

David Paterson is the fourth black governor ever, the first blind governor, and–most importantly–altho’ he represented Harlem, he was _born in Brooklyn_. That he may be the most decent person in Albany can only help as well. New York is full of b.s.-artist politicians, including the black communities, but David is not one of those. He may surprise everyone.
