Profile: Prophet Love, street preacher

Prophet Love stands at metro Atlanta intersections six-days-a-week asking passersby to repent. The 82-year-old Southwest Atlantan wears a purple suit and carries a sign with his phone number.
“[God] gave me this message: ‘You tell churchfolk that I said, out of every 100 churchfolk, 97 are gonna burn in Hell. Woe be unto you if you don’t warn them.’â€
“I stand at the red light on the side of the road, sometimes no more than a foot between me and tractor trailers. And within a few minutes, my phone starts ringing. And I’ve reached thousands of thousands of people.â€
On people who tell him they pray to cleanse themselves of sin: “Pray my foot! End of the day, you’re gonna get caught in flame, open your eyes, and be burning in hell.”
On what the voice of God sounds like: “He speaks in English. It’s a low-tone voice. It’s low.â€
“I’ve been to some places – dangerous places. Atlanta’s a wicked city. And not only Atlanta. Every city I go to. They’re full of evil, wickedness, corruption. The majority of churchfolk here have a worldly mind. And the word of God said learn not of the world.”
“You know that storm that came through about two weeks ago. God sets his footsteps upon the sea, and he rides upon very stone. And God is coming back to Atlanta. And when God comes back to Atlanta, it’s not going to be glass that falls. It’s going to be hundreds and hundreds of people who lose their lives. They better be ready. You need to get the word out. God is coming back to Atlanta. And I’m telling you, he’s going to tear it up. Sin is to blame. Sin is to blame. These folks don’t love God. Most churchfolk don’t know God.”
“I don’t use my real name. The reason I use Prophet Love is because that’s what God told me to use. I use what God told me to use. But in other words, I’ll tell you what. Uh, most people are gonna burn in hell. Most churchfolk are gonna burn in hell.”
“A man [in New York City] came up to me and he said, ‘You know what, I’m a pastor in New York. God gave me that same message.’ I said, ‘No, he didn’t.’ ‘Yes, he did.’ I knew that I wasn’t the only person when the Lord gave me that message that I wasn’t the only one he gave it to.”
“There are many pastors out there, they’re not giving to the people what God has given to them to give to them. They’re not doing it because they’re afraid. They have these beautiful buildings they’re standing up in on Sunday morning or Wednesday night — whatever. And they’re getting this big money, and the people are taking good care of em. And they don’t want to lose their job.”
“Several times I’ve come close to getting locked up, which I wouldn’t mind at all. I’m not going to do anything. I’m not going to break the law to get locked up, I’m a law-abiding citizen.”
“Did they believe Noah? It had never rained before. In those days, people got their water – water came up through the ground. Did the people believe Noah when he worked 120 years on that Ark? They called him fool, all kind of nasty names. Did it rain?”
On his purple suits: “Everything I wear is purple, from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. Purple is royal. I’m a member of the royal family [of God]. That’s why I wear purple.â€
Where does he get his suits? “There’s a place called South DeKalb Mall. There’s another place called Greenbriar. They have a clothing store for men, and I got two or three of them out there. But I haven’t been able to find [the purple suits] lately. I’ve got about four suits, I’d like to get three more. I hope to find more in the next month.”

i just wanted to know… where in the bible does it say that and why when i rolled down the window and i asked you what church u attended, you just nodded your head??? just curious. plzz reply back.

Mr. Prophet, As a curiosity where might you find that in the bible, and what church do you attend. Please respond. My friends and I are very curious.

Prophet Love, I was listening to project 96.1 yesterday. It was the first time I have ever heard of you, and now I can’t get you out of my head. Thank you for doing Gods work.
