The Buford Highway Farmer’s Market sells Samurai swords.

They’re not authentic samurai swords, but they are real swords — sharp, metal and deadly. And they’re sitting on a shelf, at kid-height, in the housewares department.

Wow! Samurai Swords! Whoaaaa, hit the frickin’ panic button! Not like you couldn’t buy these on the web, infomercials, and used you-pick-the-paper ads….
Even more shocking, there are thousands and thousands of butterknifes, forks, and other sharp objects in millions of households across America!
How far do we go to “protect you from yourself” America? Should we drive/walk around and sand off every sharp edge of every sharp object, remove anything and everything from shelves to prevent some “soon-to-be-darwinian-award-winner” from themselves?
Pull the spaghetti from Publix! Afterall, one might poke themselves in the eye with it…and there boxes and boxes of the stuff!!!
I think you are either fresh the f out of material or you are really, really, really, reaching on this one…..kind of like the ones who blame Bush for everthing wrong in their lives….

Oswald shot Kennedy and Bush had nothing to do with it….Bill Clinton had a library named after him and I assure you, Bush had absolutely nothing to do with that either…..you are responsible for your own happiness and well-being, not Bush, Clinton, or Obama…get used to it…Nixon lied…and George Bush had nothing to do with it….Clinton let Obama go…twice…and Bush had nothing to do with that either….Kia’s have no resale value…George has no influence with that either…..bad mortgage decisions are just that….George didn’t make them for you….George is America’s favorite vegetable….Cheney had nothing to do with it….Iraq was a mess before the war, George Sr and others understood the balance of power and should have left Sadam in place…kept Iran in check….we knew this in 1979…NOTHING has changed except now, the 3 perpetually disturbed factions are having at it…..UFO’s do not exist, only in your mind….George Bush has no influence on them….
Buy Samurai Swords if you want to, make sure YOUR kid doesn’t grab them…if you don’t like the market, shop elsewhere….

Oh…one other thing…calling the Buford Farmer’s Market a “grocery store” is a bit of a stretch too…..kind of like calling the craps game downtown behind a run-down building on Marietta Street, “gambling at the arena”…..
