It'd be interesting to see. I have to disagree with you on the poor governing skills. As angry as we may get with Perdue's initiatives -- road fever, Go Fish, switching out the bear claws with watermelon during his staff meetings (honestly) -- Georgia's considered one of the best managed states in the country. I think that would be the message the campaign would trumpet were he considered. On the lack-of-transportation- initiatives issue, people would point to his recent support of commuter rail. Everything else I can imagine getting dismissed by pundits and other thinkers as griping by a small segment of metro Atlanta. Perdue's a popular guy here.

I would love for Perdue to be selected as McCain's running mate. I just don't imagine that Perdue will look all that attractive to voters in the rest of the country with a third grade education or higher. Let's have Perdue and all his questionable land/tax deals and lack of "Guvnering" put on display for all to see.
