Tara-Lynne, I think you said it very well. I did read in the AJC today that they may have a shot at keeping the house. Anything that involves Ty Pennington and a bullhorn is Satanic. It is such a condescending show, and you have really put your finger on what’s wrong with it. I can’t believe this crap won an Emmy over Kathy Griffin.

I think the most cruel thing happening in Stumptown is the sense of entitlement and lack of personal accountability that is self-destructing an important sector of our community. Whether these folks are helped by the market dollars of Beazer Homes and network tv or the tax dollars of working people, we have to hold them accountable to make better decisions. We need to be able to hold them accountable without being called racists. We are all in this together.

I bet most readers here would consider a new house and a million buck one hell of a “financial makeover.”
