Fact is if Obama was congratulating the secessionist party he would be crucified.

Fact is bringing the 18 year old who got your 17 year old daughter pregnant to the convention is not the type of family values I would want my teenagers to emulate.

Fact is she was a mayor of a town of less than 9,000 before becoming gov very recently through a fluke of circumstances.

Fact is NO ONE or very few have ever heard of her. Of course the media is going in a feeding frenzy they have years and years of work to compress into months.

This is a very scary time for our country, how someone of such limited academic AND work experience can be #2 on the ticket is beyond me.

But I sympathize, McCain is right the republican party is so corrupt that this is probably the only Republican they can find who doesn’t share some of the blame for where we are today.

What’s being done to Palin is astounding. The video you posted shows her identifying areas of agreement (not secession) with a group she calls “opponents,” and cordially welcoming them to Fairbanks. Yet many reported as late as yesterday that Palin was a former member of the group and this bunch of wackos represented her true values, which was simply false.

Numerous other reports about Palin have been since proven false and most of it has been debunked by someone making a few simply phone calls. If that’s not a smear campaign I don’t know what is.
