A common voice
September 12, 2008 at 4:39 pm by Amber Robinson in Not-lantaMy heart lets out a tiny squeal of joy when I read Women Against Sarah Palin, a blog where women can vent their despair, defiance and outrage at the selection of the Alaskan governor for Republican VP candidate. Check out the 100,000 and counting responses of women across America.
One succinct example:
Palin is pro-coathanger. I am not.

from the blog -And then where would we be? Public education would become even more a disaster than it is now–creationism being added to the curriculum, sex education being removed, global warming dismissed as a fantasy, excellent books being banned from the library!
Palin has not advocated teaching Creationism as policy, but that students should be permitted to discuss it in class without retribution.
She supports sex education which contains discussion of abstinence. She is not for abstinence only as government policy.
Man made global warming is a fallacy. The Earth has been cooling for about eight years, hence the change in mantra to “climate change”.
Palin has never banned a book, either as mayor or governor. She discussed the policy and reaction from the local librarian if banning were to be requested. I am unaware of any policies or legislative proposals by Palin to ban books.
How sad that, to oppose this woman, the writer has to completely misrepresent Palin’s actions and positions. the Left and the Feminists are tying themselves into contortionist knots to oppose this woman.
